Hi Barbara, the mushroom tag is wonderful. And of course, we want you to continue making them. If I may offer two comments about this tag: 1. I would have liked it if you had cut off the white part between the two red mushrooms and 2. I think all three mushrooms could use some shadow, perhaps some grounding. Other than that it is one of my favorites. Thank you, have a nice weekend.
Yes please, more tags...lol Awh, once again, you created a beautiful tag. That quote seems to match what a woodland fairy would say. I like how you show your comparison of a heavily designed tag to a less designed one. Mushrooms are always a good idea, along with fairies..lol Thanks again Barbara!!
I am loving the fall vibes of this tag (my favorite season)! Great job! I think the quote is exceptionally fitting: you didn't have a definite plan starting out, yet you sure did "go with all your heart." You have inspired me to just DO when creating, and let go of the perfectionism and overanalyzing that more often than not paralyzes me. Since you like experimenting, try taking your silver eyelets and coloring them with a black or brown permanent marker (Sharpie). I do it with paper clips, bulb pins, staples, etc. all the time. You can also use alcohol inks or alcohol markers, but I don't have either of those.
Thanks so much! You can definitely do this too! Thanks for the tip. I will do it with alcohol inks. I have done it with paper clips, but have not thought about it for eyelets! Thank you! 🥰❤️👍🏻
Both tags are really beautiful! I like the colours of the first one, with the blue and the copper, but I prefer the calmer style of the second one... anyway, both are beautiful!!
You heard me! Just before you went to cut your quote I yelled stop! And you stopped and inked before cutting. Well done. Loving these tags. Really inspiring and I'm itching to give them a go. Would love to see more.
Barbara, I am so happy that I found you on You Tube! I absolutely LOVE your work but also really enjoy your attitude and personality. I always feel so much better after watching one of your videos. You have such a positive vibe. Hugs from Texas. Keep up the good work!
Hi Barbara, I love watching you create, and especially your attitude to just try things and see how they work. Something I need to try. Definitely more like this please! X
Love your process. I watched your video of the paper bag journal and loved, loved it and these tags awesome to . There are some quotes like "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and "Deep in the forest are secrets only the fairies know" TFS your beautiful handy work .
Danke, liebe Barbara 💝
Beautiful tag...I really learn so much watching you create these tags...I am away from home for a couple of months and only have limited supplies with me bit I’m still going to try something! Lol...yes would love to see more
Its the other Way around, the Best is to clean the stamps after using inks, but its good for the stamp to leave the embossing ink, its good for the stamp.
Another great tag and so perfect to journal on the back of and tuck in a pocket. After you chose your quote I was saying to the screen "Ink it first, ink it first!" I'm so glad you heard me! lol Thanks for the continued inspiration!
I find that I am more and more interested and intrigued by multi mediums than I ever previously thought....in fact, before I "found" you and your videos, I didn't even give the idea much thought. I just assumed I could not do it with any success. But now I am enjoying even my mistakes because they are never really mistakes at all! I love that . And once again I say to to you, thank you
Very lovely tags. You know about the rule of 3, but their is another rule, it's the rule of floating elements. It's about anchoring your images together so your eye can flow around the page or tag in this case, A floating picture will stop your eye. In this case it is your 3rd mushroom. It should be anchored or touching your other mushrooms so as to not stop the eye. A floating element works best when it is the only picture on the tag. Of course rules can be broken, but in this case I think it would of looked better to have that 3rd mushroom touching the others. I hope this helps!!!
Hello, Barbara! I like your amazing works very much. Everything's so color and nice. I enjoy seeing the way you make it with your nice fingers. You make me joyful and happy with your personality. It's so good to hear when you laugh. I think of you as my sister. I wish you everything that's nice and good from Hungary! Your work is exciting and gives a lot of joy to us and you, too!😘😘😘😘😘😘🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I enjoy watching you doing these tags....you’re so brave and creative for doing this on video....I would have messed something up the first time, I’m sure...Like someone said, it’s only paper...please do more...I like your style...😻
I'm loving your style of mixed media and as I"m just learning the techniques, you're an awesome teacher and keeping it simple. Hope to see much more of these types of tags :)
Your town and country bring back wonderful memories. My father was in the US Air Force. We were station in Bitburg Germany for three years from 1967 through 1969. Our vacations were traveling through parts of Germany, Luxemburg, France, Holland and Austria. My parents have past away. I were given all the surveniours from those countries. They are displayed throughout my home to this day. Your love of tins made my smile. Because I found seven Made in Germany lebkuchen cookie tins. Four large square one from Lebkuchen-Schmidt with winter scenes. And three small round lebkuchen tins from Numberger . That have difference scenes with castle or towns. Oh, fell in love with gummy bears while in Germany . Bought a bag every morning at a little store near our school bus stop when we lived off base the first year we were station there. I still buy a bag of them every now and then. I bought charms of all the places we visited while were were stationed in Germany and still have the bracket too. Thank you for bring back all those memories. And printed out your December prompts. Found a book that I have torn the pages out like you did. So I'm going to adapt the prompts for February, if not earlier.

The floating mushrooms could also use a grounding base of moss or something similar.
