Climbed it in 1970, no roads, no trail. 3 day/2 night round trip from the south. Good memories!!
Unreal! The steep dense forest must have been quite the adventure! What was the most challenging part?

Used to live in Kitimat. Last time I hiked that trail was about 1996. The wasp nest was there then as well! Crazy that it's still there.
You're kidding... A forever wasp nest LOL

What's the building that's up there?
Hey! that building is a government weather station.
spy building to look over the whole valley
I hiked there the day the built that. Cool to see it fully built. Was built in sept 2020 but it’s been removed now. Not sure why
Doesn’t seem dangerous at all. People in town are scared of this hike.
It's very doable and isn't overly technical. Hiking in fog or bad weather would spell trouble (but thats the same for any trail)
People should not be scared of this trail. Its awesome!
@@riseandalpine ok I’ll do it soon, cheers
I’ll look for that hat on the trail
An acquaintance and her friend died unfortunately died in 2002 on this hike. Wow 22 years now. They were so young. Their memorial @7:00 of the video
this mountain is originally known as marble mountain...
