I decided to just make it a part 3 of the previous Flirting parts, just under a different scenario ^^. Might do a part 2 cuz I have a formula to follow AKA Sonic gotta get his lick back 😏

It’s funny how Sonic gets all flustered and uncomfortable when Amy starts telling him how great he is. I’d expect him to love hearing that.

@@devonmcdaniel1176it’s kinda like playing a bully. They’re all hyper agressive and scary until someone actually challenges their authority and their mask breaks. It’s the same for this case. Sonic puts up this facade to tease and play with Amy. He puts on this “I’m the best and you know it’ attitude and pretends to be all cool, but once Amy stops being flustered and really starts going off and pushing back, this illusion breaks and he become flustered instead. Basically, so long as he has control in the situation while flirting, Sonic can act all smug playing with flustered Amy, but once he loses that control he becomes more vulnerable and easily flustered by Amy’s comeback flirting.

Yeah, the TV show is pretty good. I do wish there was a bit more thematic stuff and more emphasis on character moments rather than jokes. But it still say it’s one of the best sonic cartoons. Definitely top three at the very least, and it’s one of my favorite alternate takes on the sonic lore.

For a second I thought Sonic would be quick enough to stop Amy after she said he is selfless and loyal to those he cares about, to realise he hadn't returned any compliments to Amy about what he likes in her and then feel guilty afterwards for not doing it sooner instead of asking what's great about himself.
Remember it takes two people to form a relationship, meaning you support each other and not have one providing all the flattery to the other all the time.
If I had seen Sonic making some form of attempt to try and say what he likes about Amy, even an unsuccessful one where he can't quite find the words, I would have been okay with it as I can relate when I struggle to find the right words to compliment others with.
That's what a part 2 for 🤭
