- Here's a great Steve Hackett concert I had laying around on VHS. May 1979 in Germany.
Check it out! The quality is pretty darn good but not excellent, and nothing much would have been gained by seeding a DVD version. The audio is very good though, a little much in the mid-range but it sounds great!

Great lead guitarist of all time.
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ERA, THE MOST HEAVENLY ERA, THE MOST ORIGINAL ERA,
Track 5 (Acoustic Section) is mainly a medley of Blood On The Rooftops and Horizon. Track 6 includes (better: mainly consists of) Shadow Of The Hierophant. This might be helpful to some potential listeners. ;)
Love this show. Awesome stuff by Steve and his band. His new (2024) album The Circus And The Nightwhale is just phenomenal. 👏😃👏😃
We'd seen the same show, at Sheffield City Hall instead though, that was our 5th concert in as many years, what a brilliant show he and his band put on for us all at Sheffield, what an artist and band, but he did come from one of the beat bands in the world though, ❤

Add spectral mornings and in my opinion the best of Steve Hackett. Please don't touch on and Narnia Fender Stratocaster (never seen that before, Hackett plays Gibson Les Paul models)
The guitar solo at the end of Racing in A is incredible 😮. Steve is and always will be freaking bad ass guitar player 😅

Hackett’s top flight precision torques me into oblivion, and could only have been torquier if Steve Walsh had briefed the vokies. What do you think?

I like Pete Hicks on vocals. He definitely leans into the feel of the song. And his live performance is engaging.
Granted he’s not Walsh, but couldn’t expect him to tour with Steve Hackett as a member of Kansas.
