"Mexican" is a nationality. If you don't have Mexican citizenship, then you're not Mexican. There are people who are racially African who have Mexican citizenship and are legally Mexican.
We need a new definition. Many new black, white Europeans are changing the landscape. It use to be synonymous with mestizo or castizo when using the term Mexican in the US at one time
@@azborderlands I'm going to take the unpopular opinion that we should bring back racial distinctions. I'm OK with being called Mestizo or Castizo in order to differentiate myself from other types of Mexicans. I think Mexico's Mestizo ethnostate project is starting to unravel. We should stop pretending we're all just the same people. I have nothing in common with Mexicans like Scheinbaum.

That last name, Garibay is very in/famous and respected down in Mexico,and not exactly for good reasons..if ya catch my drift..
