- Young treble Malakai Bayoh takes to one of classical music’s most iconic stages, the Royal Albert Hall, to make his solo debut in front of a sold-out audience of 5,000 people at Classic FM Live.
With the English National Opera Orchestra and conductor Paul Daniel, Malakai sings the ‘Alleluia’ from Mozart’s ‘Exsultate, jubilate’.
His performance will be available on Sky Arts at a later date.

Unbelievable! Most opera singers train for many years to be able to sing a piece like this cleanly and in tune. To be able to sing like that at 13, after just a few years of training, is really special.
Unfortunately his treble voice will likely disappear at puberty which can't be far away. Let's hope he continues to develop his voice when it changes.

Even at this young age I'm sure he has practiced for many years. This doesn't just happen over night. It takes hard work and hours of practice. People think this just happens.... it doesn't.

His voice is reminiscent of the Vienna boys choir; so pure and innocent. He's had excellent vocal training. I hope he never stops singing!
My parents used to take us to Vienna Choir Boys concerts in the Detroit metro area back when we were young.

Malakai does not need any contest to be validated or promoted as a world class singer. The reception that he got from the audience and orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall is proof of that.

Have watched Malakai Bayoh's video over a dozen times. All I get are chills and goosebumps from his angelic voice. It's just beautiful and it gives us a redemption for hope in our troubling world that a Makai is bringing joy to humanity. That touching fist bumb of humility 👌 speaks to his upbringing.
