Today you'll see the most daring projects from modern inventors: a parking lot for flying cabs, an underwater yacht, and a supersonic business jet. It's quite possible that very soon all of them will become real! *** / @incredible-qq2zi
From the looks of things today, I think in the future, we'll be lucky to find a comfortable cave to live in.
Very insightful prediction🎉
This is what the WEF and the WHO are about . Int their own Papers ……getting rid of 90% of humanity and starting over with this shit omn a smaller scale . Trashing the infrastructure now , have it reclaimed by nature in some cases and then start this type of thinking . I Have not seen anything in the Video that the Humanity actually needs.
I love the non pessimistic thinking.
Hey! a cave digging machine!
When the solar storm happened it's going to be prime real estate in hot or cold climate, not maybe but when and even prophesied by prophets
They should rename this video "Things Only The Rich Can Afford"
"What would you get if you combined the Titanic with the Hindenburg airship?" is probably not the tagline I would go for when promoting the flying hotel.
The Titanic, the Hindenburg, and a nuclear reactor - what could go wrong?
That thing would never get off the ground to begin with...
@@alanlight7740 Everyone will get a dosimeter badge before boarding.
@@vick.1349and free ice with every drink!
Hindentanic or Titanberg you pick,lol.😊
This reminded me of the Popular Mechanics magazines from the 1960's. None of which has come true to this day LOL
Wait, aren't high-speed monorails, personal helicopters, robotic housemaids, and underwater cities all around us now? We have the technology don't we? 🙃
It seems like exactly that. Flying cars, giant space stations, moon colonies. Pretty much the same stuff that'll never happen.
@@johncmitchell4941 😊
I had the same thought exactly
"None of which has come true to this day?" Fascinating. ...Duh, here's just one of hundreds which have: the jet pack. ...Oh, what the heck, here's another: rockets that have no parachute and land unscathed back on Earth ... upright! ...Let me guess, you believe the Earth is flat, right? 😉
For most of these "wonders" I rolled my eyes so hard I saw my brain. But it was entertaining.
I'd like to see some cool, inteligent futuristic, billion dollar enterprises that provide clean water and sustainable food, maybe some shelter, to the wider society.
Titanic + Hindenburg =
Seriously??
Nothing like burning to death trapped in giant flames while you drown…in stunning luxury.
For now, I think we need high speed rail to allow people to live in the Midwest and commute to the coasts for work. And build low-cost housing for the homeless, elderly and for those replaced by AI. Cheers
Yes, it would be nice if inventors not only look to super-rich clients but actually looked at homeless situation for innovations.
Spot on😊😊😊
It is astonishing for me to think about my Grandmother. She was born in 1918 and passed away in 2013 and how technology changed so much in her lifetime. So what would it be for us in that same length of time?!
If we don’t kill ourselves off by then by totally f**king up the environment.
With overcrowding and resource exhaustion, perhaps a return to the technology of her day? Hansom cabs operated by Uber drivers and drawn by feed-powered horses? Street sweepers employed to clear the droppings? Autos replaced with a dense network of trams and passenger railroads?
Yes advance for a few more years then everything collapses and we save the planet by going back to rural acerage to garden and ride horses and mules so there is shit for the garden
@@JS-jh4cy or much worse.hunters and gatherers fighting over mutated animals and radioactive mushrooms.
Not much will become available for the general population. The way things are going I do not have high hopes for the future. All the wrong people are in charge.

I can't stand being trapped in the air with 200 strangers....so how could I ever tolerate 5,000 for months at a time?
Where is my flying car I was promised?
The only ones that looked practical enough for actual production were the airships. You just have to be patient enough to be happy travelling from NYC to London in 2 or 3 days. If it were not too expensive, quiet enough, had comfortable seats which convert to beds, with space to move around, lounge areas and restaurant-style eating, a lot of people would opt for it and it could be commercially successful I think.
Most educated people are transitioning away from the 'I'm just burning carbon for the fun of it' lifestyle. If we even think about our kids, eschewing the 'Slaycation' is the LEAST we can do. From that perspective, a Zero-Carbon Airship might soon be the ONLY way to get to London, Paris, Rio, Tokyo, Kauai or thousands of others destinations.
I would agree but as an Australian I wonder what the flight time would be to say Sydney selfish I know but it could matter in the end.
@@retired3437 They didn't give the speed of the new airships, but they are to be driven by propellers. The HIndenburg's speed was 84 miles per hour, and the new ships would probably be similar, depending on head or tail winds encountered. The air distance from London to Sydney is 10,573 miles, and currently you have to sit in a cramped economy seat for 22 hours of flight time for the journey. Buy a ticket on the new airship and spend almost a week on board. If it's comfortable enough with great views of the ground, good beds, comfortable work areas, fitness facilities and a well-stocked bar with plenty of chilled Coopers, you might enjoy the ride, mate.
We’re running out of helium. It will be prohibitively expensive to maintain helium airships.
@@deepspire You're right, of course. They will have to find a way to make hydrogen far safer for airships if airships have a future at all. I hope they do. Just had a 7 hour flight from London to JFK and even though it was in business, it wasn't really comfortable. Photos of accommodations in the Hindenburg looked far superior. There was just the little problem of the fire...
That video was amazing! The technology was mind-blowing. I just hope our planet survives long enough to witness it.
If only the resources spent on these dreams can be spent on real needs..
The dreams of the rich and inventors leads to progress in other areas as well.
@@prepperjonpnw6482, people can get minimum wage jobs making them richer!
Well, the first one has already been done, in the 70's, known as the Concorde. The rest of them I have been seeing for decades, the dreams of engineers.
I can’t tell whether or not this dude’s voice is AI.
I’d settle for a simple camera on the moon with a 24-7 live feed of the earth, but that will never happen.
Incredible video!!! The technology just blew my mind. I only hope that the planet lives long enough to see it.
I really liked that hand rails were important in the lunar pods. Can't have too many handrails.
Air France Flight 4590 was the only fatal incident for the Concorde after 27 years. The problem was the cost of making one skyrocketed and the sonic boom.
The other problem was that the passengers only needed one accident to be dead.
I believe it also racked up more safe flight hours than any other plane
@@TheDavidlloydjones That could also be applied to any airplane. But they are still in use every day.
The problem was France did it, not U$A so had to be stopped.
@@bertanelson8062exactly, "not invented here" syndrome in action!
"Air Hotel" at 7:00 is a complete joke. Any sophomore aerospace engineering student can see that.
Think about the drivers around on your daily commute. Now put them all in the air.
Oh, don't worry, we'll never get rid of traffic cops and they'll be on air motorbikes. "Pull over buster"
Billionaires toys and we end up paying their carbon tax.
I show these to my grandma when she falls asleep, better than coffee
I'd bet your grandma's career was not in technology and mechanics.
Anyone who shows Mother Earth as their pic is okay in my book~! 😀
Peace, and remember to love your Mother~ ☮💝🌎
Opposite effect for me.
The truth is that the Concorde had a flawless record until that ONE accident and was closed down afterwards.
It is already obsolet! You are right!
The accident was only the last straw. Concorde was a financial disaster.
The reason Concorde was shelved was because it threatened the economies of its peers.😅😅😅
Concorde wasn't gonna survive 21st century aviation even if this disaster didn't happen...these planes were 1960s technology and they would need to come with new planes and concord was losing Millions and very little profit...
“What happens if you combine the Titanic and the Hindenburg?” …is a sentence that does not sell me on what comes next.
Basing your idea on the Hindenburg and the Titanic, then throwing in a nuclear reactor seems like a truly inspired disaster.
Imagine the fun of flying through a thunderstorm. Imagination is fun, not considering the high engineering hurdles and inherent flaws in anything large-scale.
The flying hotel has a viewing lounge on top, so you can see a lot of sky. Then it can go to the Amazon of any major city -- so you can see a lot of sky.
The tourist submarine, by contrast lets you see a lot of water. But then you can go to the windows on the other side and see a lot of water.
Lol
You don't need all those silly inventions to see water or the Amazon! Come on!
I think there's a good chance that not a one of these contraptions will ever become operational. But if they did, think of all the major disaster movies they would spawn, when gravity has its way with them.
Nick the innovator will give you a world changing event. What if the ground charged through the tires go to the batteries
Thank you for this very good overview about new technologies!
yes, its good and amazing to watch

The "Flying Hotel" was exposed as phony long ago. What it actually was was a CGI project created by a computer graphics student.
And I've said before, if I COULD MAKE CGI footage I'd have my cat sprout wings and go chasing flying fish in my landlocked backyard.
AND there'd be people stupid enough to ask me for one of my flying cats kittens when it had them!
Imagination and reality our brain is simply full of charge to explore the unknown frontiers! So overwhelmed by our great scientists and the associates for their relentless effort to go beyond and BRAIN TIME thank you so much dears for the so wonderful revelations !
"Airships" don't work. They only work in calm weather. People are picky about their destination, not the wind's direction.
Great video for billionaires. They must be excited. It's fun to watch though, even if it is for the playground of the rich only. Btw, are there ANY upcoming technologies that will help All of humanity that us non billionaires would care about? Maybe that can be your next video.
Even the rich won’t have access to this fantasy.
Guarantee that nuclear air hotel thing never gets built.
I like ALL of the inventions.
They are so incredible..!❤
Concord's demise can be left at the door of French airport housekeeping. The Concord hit debris on the runway which ultimately crashed not just one plane but the whole fleet. A sad but true story.
You are correct, the debris also could have been spotted easily today with the superb camera technology we have, unfortunately not available at the time… sad day… Peace
A major part was played by the plane that dropped the debris in the first place.
Yeah but, no but...
Standard procedure before any Concorde take off was a runway inspection. This didn't take place. If it had, it would have found the part.
The part that came from the Continental bird wasn't manufactured or installed correctly by the maintenance company. If it had been, it wouldn't have fallen off.
The tanks weren't penetrated by the tire. The force of the impact ruptured at least one tank and it was downhill from there. This wasn't the first time that happened. If this had been dealt with appropriately, the above may not have matter. I wonder if this was the reason for the need for the runway inspection in the first place.
I just hope we could get supersonic flights again
It only hurts when I laugh.
Wonderful that all these efforts have gone into solving real world problems. Like the homeless crisis. Bravo.

That's up to the homeless themselves, handouts do not help self affliction it only enables it as well as the corruption and greed of so called charitable organizations who readily poket the funds as their own personal pork belly piggy bank.
HOW WOULD I KNOW? simple I'm a former homeless Colfax commodity myself. I'M the only one who got myself into that mess, I'm the only one who got myself out of it!
Now I'm a home/land owner with a $20 hr job and two vehicles.
Wanna help out the homeless? Don't hand out money, handout job applications
The first one. Run those goofy engines ain’t gonna hold that 💀
The Concord crash was caused by bits falling off an American aircraft that took off just before the Concord.
Yep!
The DC10!
I doubt it.
@@1m2rich There are documentaries about that happening on RUclips.
I thought the thumbnail was that missing submarine
What I’ve noticed is all these futuristic inventions look cold and soulless.
I’m So Excited about our Future & Our Children’s Future !!! Becoming a Space Fairing Civilization & a Multi-Planetary Species !!! Ya know something , some people still believe that the world is flat & that we never went to the moon !? “What’s With That” !? I mean ,”Give Me a Break” !!!
Endless material for videos of future engineering disasters.
Absolutely. We already watch enough engineering disasters today. People love making programs about multi-deaths.
Next underwater submarine 😁
And then? Will we remember all these after death too?
Book me for an inflatable residence on the moon with no atmosphere to burn up those pesky little meteorites.
Much joy, THANKS !!
14:15 - Inflatable living quarters? Yeah, that will be nice when there's meteor showers.
The floating islands seem very good unless their is a tidal wave 🌊. And the floating hotel is amazing.
Floating cities would ride the tidal wave as if it was only a swell. Shallow water is what raises the actual wave. But rogue waves are another problem. Cheers
Want to see all these inventions coming live in a decade time.
I want to fly my car before I'm dead. Not much chance of that at my age but, one can only hope.
i'm a kid and i've rode a plane
I'd like to see a one passenger supersonic plane in a form of robot image with all the system functionalities
most of these things are Pure Fantasy and will never have. Some of these could work to a degree.
I think Hypersonic commercial planes will be the biggest game changers to travel

When you tell AI to combine the Titanic and the Hindenburg
Space Perspective looks fantastic! I would love to do this. Maybe they could raffle tickets for people who are financially challenged, so we could also have the experience.
I propose free tickets for those that advance the flat earth conspiracy. Ane record their reaction of seeing the curvature of the earth. Beam the video back to the internet and stop their stupidity once and for all. Cheers
The moon has a base already. Don’t think they want us up there
I wonder what air space laws will allow, how many independent companies will have to hire and train their own air traffic controllers, and what the accident rate might be.
We have had a colony on Mars since the early fifties.
So overwhelmed by our great scientists and the associates for their relentless effort to go beyond.
I have had great ideas just like that when I was a child, maybe I should have kept all my kindergarten drawings and BIG BRAIN ideas and inventions
Some of this I fear but I also hope to see all of the inventions some day.
That British Whale looking ship would be great for Australia.
I'm not getting on any boat that sinks itself on purpose...lol
Without flying such speed we can be virtually there any place any time less than a minute. Hope we should spend more on this technology what I call "virtual flying."
Just billionares could afford this
The modules are cool!
That white and yellow airship is NOT powered by Helium; it is buoyed up by Helium and powered by fan-jets.
What needs to happen is for science to find a way to negate gravity. That is, Suspensor Technology.
As portrayed in Star Wars, the way Ships & small vehicles can float. Also, there needs to be a way to generate gravity in space! As shown in Star Trek & other Sci-Fi, the floors have "gravity plating". If Suspended Technology can be harnessed, it would make air travel 100% safe!
u are right, agreed
And we’re all going to have flying cars. That was the prediction in the 1950’s. Still waiting …….
I think this was scheduled for release April 1st, but someone was carried away by their fantasies....
guys, everyone knows that space doesn't exist
You claimed the space capsule is lifted with a hot air balloon 😂 it's a Hydrogen powered balloon. 😂
In the future will people live in tents on the sidewalk ?
After the recent Titan failure, I expect the appetite for deep sea anything to be diminished somewhat.
Flying hotel can’t prevent air travel poisoning: one drop is fatal.
I think I would rather stay home and watch a repeat episode of the Twilight Zone.
I want to see all these in near future.
14:25 Is a great concept.
When I want to be wowed by future technology I just watch Futurama.
> Don't hold your breath waiting.
As if cruise ships weren't bad enough.
Interesting stuff but running it all on rainbows and waterfalls is a bit of a stretch
We have money for all…even go to mars but no money for people without even clean water … 😂😢…
When shall we make planes that do not crash? Is it about time we focus on prevention of accidents instead of just accepting them as inevitable?
Wow......this channel really knows how to attract viewers...
