I love One Night At McCools. As you say Liv Tyler 😍 (especially in the car wash scene). Also get hilarious turns from John Goodman, Paul Reiser and Michael Douglas with those teeth. A History of Violence is great as is Nocturnal Animals. Good pickups there Neil.
Great stuff as always matey.. got both those Clint Eastwood movies but not Honkey tonk man.. so I'll have to keep an eye out for that one 😎👍 Hope you had a good Christmas matey and have a great new year 👍
Hi Marcus. Yes, Honkytonk Man has been hard to find, glad to have now tracked it down. I have the majority of Eastwood’s films now, just a few missing which are films I don’t love anyway. Likewise, I hope you’re enjoying your week and all the best for your 2025
Hi Neil, interesting haul mate, I’ve not seen that version of Oliver Twist 🧐 yeah Bad Lieutenant is not for the faint hearted 😬 I’ve not seen that version of Dracula but if your after a good telling then I recommend a BBC miniseries from 2020 called Dracula starring Claes Bang as the title character. It’s worth a watch. Nice one mate, take care👍😃👍
Hi Alan. I hope you had a good Christmas. I did see the Claes Bang Dracula, loved episode 1 and then found it went downhill. Thanks for all your support this year. Have a great New Year
Thanks, Deon. Yes, I’m excited for that haul to arrive and keep staring at the list, haha. It will include some great classics as well as plenty of titles which are not so well known/loved. Thanks for watching this year and all the best for your 2025
Because of all the great region B movies that are available... some in fact i find used here, I might be investing in a region B player soon... and from the list of directors you menetioned, this order you have coming in sounds like a bonanza!
Hi Erik. The January haul (58 movies, very exciting!) are region A but yes generally I think it’s worthwhile getting a multiregion player if you can. All the best for your 2025
The Dracula series me and the wife quite enjoyed it Neil, shame really there was no series 2 it was just getting going , have a great remaining Christmas 🎄👍🏻
Neil on the road to 1000 subscribers, you’ll achieve it soon and it’s very well deserved. Continue the great work and a happy new year to you my friend.
Thanks, Alex. My channel may not have high numbers but the viewers I do get have been great at commenting and letting me know when a movie I have mentioned resonates with them. Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas. All the best
Great pick ups Neil 🙏🏻🙏🏻 The Titus movie particularly interests me but it’s a hard one to come by for some reason. Hope you enjoy all your pick ups and had a lovely Christmas 😊🎄🌟
Thanks, Jodie. Hopefully you’ll be able to track it down at some point. I haven’t watched it yet but it’s a 2 disc edition with the second disc including both a Q&A with the director as well as a 50 minute documentary. I only just realized the director Julie Taymor also directed the Broadway stage version of The Lion King! I hope you are relaxing and all the best for your 2025
Hey, Karen, great to hear from you :) You’ve got me thinking Something’s Gotta Give is a horror movie now, haha. Thanks for watching and I hope all is good with you too. I saw the new Nosferatu today (no spoilers), are you planning to see it? Best wishes for your 2025
Hi Neil, great pickups again mate, That Clint Eastwood triple pack looked great, i do have the Every which movies on Blu-ray from Germany as those classics still don't have a release in Blighty. Sure i have seen Honkytonk man and your right, don't think i have seen it on physical anywhere. Looking at picking up more BFI this year, not got many at the moment. Thanks .
Hi and Happy New Year. Yes, I won’t get rid of my snapper case DVDs of the Every/Any which way movies as love the poster art on those….If I was in UK I’d definitely be getting more BFI releases. I’m currently working through their Roll Out The Barrel set, which are documentaries on British pubs. Limited appeal I know but I’m just loving it. All the best
@@neilsmoviechannel3199 We have a channel that you would love called Talking pictures, it has mini documentaries on between films and series, like how to drive, trains and even The Littlewood pools was on it, all from the 50s and 60s
Hi Neil, You got some great movies here! The only one I actually own is Something's Gotta Give. I know that I seen Nocturnal Animals, but for some reason I don't remember it. You always find great things. Did you have a nice Christmas?
Shiraz looks like an interesting release. I need to get an all-region player someday. I don't think that I have seen that Sidney Lumet thriller. I am a sucker for thrillers, even the half-way decent ones. I watched a couple of episodes of Dracula but I did not stay with it, which is kind of crazy in that I will usually watch any vampire movie or show. Sounds like a great sale. I will be interested to see what you picked up. Have a great new year.
Hi Randy. The Shiraz restoration is beautiful and Anoushka Shankar’s new score for it is stunning. Thanks for watching this year and for your comments, I’ve really enjoyed your year by year series. All the best for your 2025
I did not like Nocturnal Animals when I watched it either. History of Violence is a really good movie. That makes me want to watch History of Violence and Eastern Promises back to back.
Love Somethings Got to Give, great interaction between Diane Keaton and Nicholson. Nice haul
Good to hear, thanks for commenting.

Good pickups there Neil.
Another cool haul, Neil. This should keep you busy over New Year's!!
Thanks, Mike. I’m still getting through the last couple of years worth, haha. All the best for your 2025, sir
Thank you Neil! Have a great holiday season from Edmonton!
Hey neighbour! Thanks for watching. All the best
Hi Neil interesting pickups again. I have Roll out the Barrel it's a really interesting time capsule highlighting British pubs.
Hi Roy. Ah, great to hear you have it. I’ve started it and loving it so far, some great footage of bygone times.
Great stuff as always matey.. got both those Clint Eastwood movies but not Honkey tonk man.. so I'll have to keep an eye out for that one 😎👍
Hope you had a good Christmas matey and have a great new year 👍

Hi Stuart. Ah thanks for letting me know. I’ll watch it but was hoping it all wraps up neatly at the end. Hope you’re enjoying your break, mate
@neilsmoviechannel3199 I don't think it did to well( it's all about money and success) they didn't give it chance to expand ,
A lot of interesting pick ups as always , have a great New Year’s
Cheers, Mike. All the best

History of Violence and Eastern Promises definitely makes a good double feature. Thanks for watching
