I love your attention to detail! It's no wonder people come from all over for you to work on their cars. You just don't find that quality of care at most shops. I know this is your car, but you treat customer cars the same.
I'm so glad you chose the NSX to represent LHT. I think it's one of the most amazing, beautiful, exciting machines on the planet (which doesn't deserve all the hate it gets). I'm excited for you and really looking forward to seeing this car transform over time.
Charge pipes look awesome and as always, perfect fit and finish. Dying to see the fabrication of the titanium exhaust and to see what kind of performance gains you get from that project. Overall awesome video and beautiful canvas for these projects. You picked the right car to display your expertise on:-)
Hey LHT I have a functionality question about these pipes. I was watching another NSX video with the camera mounted facing the engine, and the guy was flooring it but when he lifted one of the intake pipes momentarily collapsed almost halfway. I'm wondering if Honda designed that intentionally, and what adverse effects having a non-collapsible solid metal intake pipe could have
dasspr I put the couplers so they read right way up when standing at the side of the car.when people buy them, they can put them upside down. I like them they way I installed them. 😉
Looks great and nice editing on this one. On your next run of LHT couplers maybe just do your LHT logo and that is it. Also it kind of drove me crazy the LHT logos being opposite of the NSX one lol
I agree it was driving me crazy🤪. I wanted to reach into the screen & change them myself. That would look nice having the 3 letters LHT on either side of the center NSX👍
Exactly what I was thinking! Also, to be honest, I think pipes more similar to the first prototype would've looked better than the segment bends, but either way, it's better and more interesting than boring black rubber!
LHTPerformance are any of them flat enough to use a scrap pice something in its place? If so, some scrap and plastidip could give a good idea if I would look nice. No real risk if it doesn’t.

The fact that others sell the 90 bend and after test fitting you realized that it isn’t a perfect fit makes this R&D worth it. And Honda using a Torx?!?!?! Wtf
Torx are more durable than like a flat or Phillips. But I guess you’re right and they could’ve used a socket. But torx are a bit more low profile too though. Hmm if you think about cheaper cars, those torx could have been push pin. So maybe durability was a factor. When I work on certain parts of my car, the push pin stops being effective after awhile depending on the style of it.
My OCD is kicking in seeing the "LHT" logos upside down and not mirrored...otherwise beautiful work and craftsmanship and please disregard my first comment as I am an insufferable nag.
@@LHTPerformance very true love seeing the use of titanium. If I start another project one day (prob have to sell the Porsche) hopefully i can have you guys work on it. Love the work! keep it up!
Now, maybe powder coated by our friends at AB Powder Coating could do a set for a customer in the paint color of the car, that would be interesting to see.
@@LHTPerformance Don't get me wrong. It's a beautiful part, and I'm loving the UF Gators color scheme (intentional or not)! Can't wait to drive my S2K from TX to FL to get boosted...just need to buy one first.
Man those factory charge pipes look so boring given how much they are on display. You would think for the price they could come up with something a little better. Least LHT is on it making it look better.
I like the new NSX more and more every time I see it. It's just designed so well and there aren't any bad angles on the car.

Body colored charge pipes would look very sharp against the black covers and add the much needed contrast in that bay.
So cool that you’re getting into some NSX content! Glad to see that Honda’s incredible engineering and build quality continues on their supercar.
The best car channel. Your channel is underrated. 🇿🇦🇿🇦👌
share it!!! It definitely is underrated.
I’m loving the colour creations you’ve come up with. It’s looking really good John!
Andrew Stewart Thanks buddy. We have more to come. We have a real nice set I think people will like.

james bowling Thanks. That was the whole idea. I technically can’t afford this car.
I think I'm buying an NSX just to buy that part from you 😍😂
Watching all of the Kraftwerks installs has really been making me want an S2000. At least I have a snowball's chance of affording an S2k.
Woo hoo I was waiting for this since you purchased the car! super excited to see the exhaust build for this thing. its going to sound amazing
Sweet ride John and you do outstanding work.
love the titanium! i had a titanium demonstration sword when i was in martial arts. so cool
Ahhhhhh! You steal my heart John! Now this is refreshing! Thanks again for the content!

That blue accent would have went well with the indigo interior😁
NSX Fanboy lol
Great video and it’s nice to see an honest manufacturer. Well done.
very nice work, you guys make some of the nicest stuff by far ! keep up the good work!
Steve DeRosa Thanks buddy. Wait for. The exhaust 😉
Beautiful pipes, love your content, please keep up the good work
Ocd! Flip the couplers around so that the lht lettering is read down not up lol, thats just me, carry on!

Beautiful work as always, John.😍
Hell yeah wish the charge pipes showed more but looks great still
Nice and clean work as usual, damn that engine seems a pita to work on.
Mid engine life 🤦♂️

I think the engine bay might look good if you painted the mesh inserts on the plastic covers to match the body color. The titanium pipes look awesome.
bigfoot286 I actually thought about that too. They do remove from the covers.
LHTPerformance are any of them flat enough to use a scrap pice something in its place? If so, some scrap and plastidip could give a good idea if I would look nice. No real risk if it doesn’t.
Art of Beauty... Probably give you more intake sound.
Ganbala It does sound a little louder. Maybe the rubber hose reduces the induction sounds.
Charge pipes look awesome guys! You should flip the logos so they are right side up ;-) Also can't wait to hear and see the new exhaust!
Brandon K. Right side up from which side ? The passenger side or drivers side 🤷♂️
I don’t know what you talking about. Their is weight reduction that’s benefit of it titanium if you are forgetting
hydro dipping would look awesome
Probably never gonna own, lease or rent a NSX but still a great video👍🏽 hope the year is starting off great for the team.

Lookin great John!!!
whos been waiting for this video!
I call this a master pieces! Good job
Have you guys thought about doing this with the in take arm on the OEM s2k intake? That would be sweet!
Beautiful car!
Looks so clean.
Looks beautiful. I'd prefer the LHT branding (name) up right/straight and not upside down.
I'm going to buy the pipes now and buy the car later , i wish the rubber coupler could blend in better
Omar Lekphet We thought about welding a Vband clamp into the Throttle bodies but that might a little extreme.
There's goes the bumper-to-bumper warranty!
amcluesent If you concerned with that you won’t like our channel. 👍🏻
I love your work and craftsmanship. I would like to know if you guys can help me out with my droney exhaust on my GTI
That turned out nice man
Will you be doing any road racing track days soon?
old Errol yes, hoping February
Haters will says "heat soak!"
What do you care, they don't have an NSX! 😂
Nice little cosmetic mod! 👌👍
3m 233+ is the only body/painting tape to use!
Mrv V I’m not a professional paint and body guy. I used to protect the plastic for a few mins. As long is it doesn’t leave residue .
Love that lobster style look. Flashy
The fact that others sell the 90 bend and after test fitting you realized that it isn’t a perfect fit makes this R&D worth it. And Honda using a Torx?!?!?! Wtf
Jae Baek It seams everyone uses torx now. It’s funny, they are constructed very similar to McLaren and Ferrari. I think they all copy each other.
PeePee2000 Most places carry them in a set. Best way to buy them.
Torx are more durable than like a flat or Phillips. But I guess you’re right and they could’ve used a socket. But torx are a bit more low profile too though.

Very nice and we'll engineered .
why are there writings on the panel
Terry Low I think it’s batch numbers
John is OCD! And that's exactly how I like my mechanics!
Couplers are upside down :/
Coda5610 They face outwards. If you stand next to the car they read correctly
ahh
Exhaust next
NSX is my dream car
Keeping it real, love it

Namesi Both LHT logo will read the right up when standing each side of the car. 🤷♂️. That’s the I intended it to be. Thanks 🤔?
@@LHTPerformance OK I'll buy that ;)
Namesi Lol. If I made the same way up, the would only read correct from one side.....🤣
Looks great!
Just wonderful
Been waiting for this video!
Nice details
Good video. For you NSX guys buy stuff from John! Help him pay that car off :)
Trung Ngo Thanks. If not the car won’t be here long. 🤔
@@LHTPerformance very true love seeing the use of titanium. If I start another project one day (prob have to sell the Porsche) hopefully i can have you guys work on it. Love the work! keep it up!

Christ I hate titanium, would love to see them done in body colour, the orange is stunning ♥️
ImBarryScottCSS We’re doing titanium to promote titanium. We’ll be doing the exhaust soon. Do you hate titanium exhausts too ?
Now, maybe powder coated by our friends at AB Powder Coating could do a set for a customer in the paint color of the car, that would be interesting to see.
Jason Hyde I may do a set in Orange to match the car at some point.
I'm curious how it would be now HAHA. Great work as always.
Jason Hyde Thanks buddy. 👍🏻
very nice
Maybe hydro-dip all the plastic covers with a carbon-weave film. That would look pretty sweet!
Fitment...doesn't mean what you think it means.
Maurice Musy OK, OKAY 👌🏼
@@LHTPerformance Don't get me wrong. It's a beautiful part, and I'm loving the UF Gators color scheme (intentional or not)! Can't wait to drive my S2K from TX to FL to get boosted...just need to buy one first.
Maurice Musy The pipes are to promote our titanium work. I would never plan a color scheme off a base ball team etc. Thanks.
we cant get nothing nice in ca anymore what a shame turning all my cars back to stock
Souksanh Phoummavong I think that is a shame. It sucks to return them to stock.
Soooooo sweeet!
That's the first thing I would do because I hate those tubes that's show on the top of the motor.. They look bland
LHT TLC OCD
Man those factory charge pipes look so boring given how much they are on display. You would think for the price they could come up with something a little better. Least LHT is on it making it look better.
I find it annoying that they covered everything
They shouldn't call this the NSX but instead ECX for Exotic Car eXperimental.
Yummy!!!
The only thing that would make them better is if the coupler had LHT Performance right side up. That would please my OCD. Buahahahaha.
First lol
