Wow brings back memories i met my now wife in the Irish bar (was around the back of veronicas) 23 years ago, to be fair it now looks quite tame compared to what it was like in 1999 it was crazy (Bobby & Busby etc etc) we're back to Tenerife in August this time with the kids, won't be going to veronica anymore 😂😂😁😁👍👍😉😉

Veronicas will never be like it was in late 80's and 90' with the likes of bobys bar they was the days, we come bk now as a young family and still love it. Love you're videos fella, not been bk since covid 2020 so nice to see what's happening. We are over in July for 2 weeks at las siesta, can't wait

Back in the day where they used to show pirate video films on the big screens. Terrible quality. Rambo, The Fly, Batman etc.. That and programs on loop showing car crashes on race tracks or rally cars.

I used to stand on that strip every night in the mid nineties dragging people into those bars, had an amazing time. Don't see many pr's there now from this video..
Was there in 2001, sound of cream and sound of ministry were there at the end. Was only 16 at the time and had a great time. Was at a foam party upstairs in O'Neill's one night. Whole area was rammed back then.
I walked along there this evening with my 17yr old son.....cracked me up the usual characters trying it on.
Explained a few pointers to him prior to the walk along the strip. Got to be confident to deal with these characters and talk the talk....🤣👍
I went there in 1988 and acid house bandanas and smiley 😃 t shirts bit more hardcore then crashing on the beach...

I worked on there for 3 years from 98 great times
11 of us when there in 1998. It was much busier then, not sure what time of the year this is though
Veronicas I was there twice 91 and 92 Plutos and Cally Bar Crows Nest and the Kebab Shop is still there fantastic I'm 56 now love to go back and drink all day and night 🍺🎵😂
Spent every night down there back in 2000, seven 17 year olds on our first holiday, absolutely manic!
In 2004 came out with a mate and for a laugh we got a job one night in the kebab shop PR-ing, we made our own jug of “shots” with all the booze we had left over in our apartment, and gave everyone that came in a shot with their kebab. Guy that had it said he’d never had a night as busy as that one. 🤣🤣

Went to That strip 10 years ago with the lads and was the last lads holiday we did as we were hitting 30 and looking to settle down was brilliant recommend it to the young ones

I was there about 5 years ago, stayed in the Iberostar Bouganville Playa - terrible room was noisy at night place was being renovated, the pool was crap as was the gym just full of OAP's, bored with the Scoff after two days. Moved to the Cleopatra Palace for around 10 days and went out each night to walk and eat at different places, great facilities and even managed 4 days scuba diving all booked from the Hotel. Even better that I found an offie that sold Old Parr think it was right in the shopping mall along from the colour changing fountains and over from the Hotel. You have to try Old Parr its the perfect drop over ice in hot climates. Keep up the good work!

It was run by Billy and Wendy in the mid to late 1980s.
I have not been back for years. It is still the same. Bobby's bar. That was crazy back in the day. Everyone probably crashed out now with all the booze, so not so busy. 🤣😁
I lived there for a year in 2004, but had been countless times on holiday, not been 16 years but it looks a lt different to me. Last time I was in Bobby's though it was dead as a door nail

Went in 88, first lads holiday,93/98. Loved it. Me and the wife are having a 4 day break here early next year in an attempt to recapture our youth. I’m 54 she’s 47.
The backdoor to the Gala closes at 2100 mate but handy during the day love the energy down at Veronica's but only in passing by too old now 😄

Spent my 21st there back in 1997. I was so drunk the taxi wouldn't take me back to the apartment (we were at the Mare Verde which was a bit of a hike). My mates dumped me on Troya beach and went back. I woke up in the morning in my own vom but still had all my money on me and didn't have a sore arse or anything 🤣. Maybe the puke saved me from something bad happening.

Went to Tenerife in 1998. Caught chronic Flu on the plane over, Kicked in on my second day and for the rest of the two weeks all i could manage to do was crawl from my bed to the loo and that was it hahah.. Psychologically damaged from those memories ha! .... Never been back. It looked very nice though from the bus windows to the airport.

I was brought up in this scene, my mum was one of those who pull punters in from the street (Public Relations worker) during the 80s and 90s it was packed, now it seems like it still has some atmosphere.... but nothing compared to what it used to be.
My step dad was a copper out there, and they had to come with riot vans, and battons, unlike the UK, I was allowed in the clubs my mum worked at and stayed behind the DJ booth, some classic club names for you ....

Went in 1992 first night pitched battle between around 20 to 30 lads from Manchester and Liverpool.....last night saw a local get stabbed in a fight.....got punched by security guard from hotel for absolutely nothing....oh to be 21 again!!
I’m heading to the Columbus in feb, we are mid 30’s so not overly keen on Veronica’s as I’m a bit past it 😂 is there a strip of other bars which would be more suited to my age
parque de la paz strip about 10 mins walk away turn left out hotel and next left past chieftain bar then at end of road go down the path down past vulcano hotel and you are there, google maps Frankies bar, they dont get busy until about 830pm

Yh, Mrs T's i lived there in '93 and '94 for 18 months, we'd go there b4 Bobbys/Buzbys then to Dreams/ Paradise a bit further up from Bobby's, then over to Pelinors over the road when the clubs had shut to carry on drinking and see the new day in...😂😂😂 or over to Springers bar in Los christianos, buzzin' all the old skool tunes every nite, it was like being in Eclipse or Shelleys from 90 -92....fkn banging' m8 every nite........the gool old days....💊💊💊💊💯💯💯💯💯❤️❤️
Veronica’s 1996 Bobby’s and Busby’s, Soul Train, Tramps, that place was rocking back then, like you said it spilt right out. Those were the days, but I was only 24 then, actually on the day before I came home.
I had to do my Kidney Dialysis whilst I was there, my first time doing holiday dialysis and I chose to go abroad, should have been with my girlfriend but we split up a few weeks before but I thought, did it, I’d paid for it so I’m going. Turned out they had double booked so I was asked if I’d go on a later flight, wasn’t offered anything and if I’d known then what I do now I could have made a few quid, had to sit on the crews jump seats for the flight but as they needed them for take off and landing I sat in the cockpit, won’t see that these days. Got a few quid back when I got home though
