WooJin will always be connected with Skz because he debuted with them.
Look at the Beatles. John Lennon left them, but he was always considered a Beatle until his death and after it. He helped them to begin, he was a part of the group, he cannot be erased and neither can WooJin from Skz.
The Beatles are the most famous, but many K-Pop groups are the same.
Members are still associated with the groups and fans are OT this or OT that.
It's no one's business but their own.
The people that continue to freak-out about it are just sad.
I'm not a STAY nor will I ever become one because of their Toxicity.
Actually the more I talk to Toxic STAYs the less I like to listen to Skz.
It's harming their reputation. Yes they are on the rise because BTS opened the door to the English and Latin speaking countries. But what will happen when those new fans have to deal with all that toxicity from the fandom? They will start to distance themselves.
OTs don't really matter. People will like what they like and it's no one else's business to tell them who are what they like. What STAYs should be doing is giving love to their Idols and staying out of other people's Idols/musicality.
As I said, I'm not a STAY, but if I was I would be OT9. Why? Because I much prefer the early music of the group to what they do now. The only songs Iby Skz on my playlist are OT9 songs.
But as Toxic STAYs continue to hurt Skz reputation, I listen to them less and less every day.
If I sound angry, I am in a way, but mostly I'm disappointed with the human race in general for allowing this kind of discrimination. People need to stop the unfounded hate and move on to just sending out love those they love.
As Chan said to STAYs, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything.
@@deborahsmith828 no ones doing that, and I think you entirely misunderstand us all. I have been a Stay from before Woojin left and his departure was a huge blow to the group, especially after the false accusations. I have nothing against him, but I am not a fan of the people that constantly push their older music and wish that Woojin could come back, because at the end of the day he chose to leave the group on his own terms, no one kicked him out. There's a reason that Skz had to rerecord almost all of their old songs in an OT8 version and are no longer allowed to talk about Woojin, because Kpop is completely different from Western music. Where you refer to John Lennon and the Beatles, you forget that Kpop has never worked that way, especially since John Lennon was an incredibly famous and popular member, whereas Woojin was commonly considered the least popular. It's ignorant to complain about toxic Stays when we just want to support the group in their present state, not stay stuck in their activities from 3 years ago, because the truth is Woojin's existence in the group will basically be wiped out and become insignificant a few years down the line once they rerecord everything, so we need to adjust sooner rather than later than being stuck listening to the same music over and over, not being able to enjoy their new releases just because of one member leaving. But, like I said before, I have nothing against Woojin nor your music tastes for preferring their older songs. Like you said, I was very disappointed in how Stays acted after Woojin's departure, but its wrong to say that you're OT9 when the group has 8 members

1. Legally JYPE cannot rerelease any Skz songs with WooJin on them without renegotiating with WooJin and 10x Entertainment. The Japanese release album is the one I believe everyone is claiming JYPE/Skz were trying to wipe WooJin off, but it was made after he left. Why spend money paying WooJin and 10x Entertainment over and over again, when they could easily rerecord and keep the profits?!?
2. Seungri is still referenced as being in BigBang!
All the members of 2ne1 are still referenced as being in that group and they sang together this year at Coachella!
I can name many K-POP Idols that are still referenced to the bands they used to be in and fans that are OT this or that.
You are failing miserable at making your point and instead helping me to make mine!
