honestly that's what it feels like, especially with how more PvP oriented Farmland has become (since it's the smallest map), thankfully maps like Valley are less of a "hardcore MP game" as it's a bigger map meaning less chances to run into players which means you a bit more room to breathe as you loot
@@OperatorMax1993 Dude, you're absolutely right. Farmland became more dangerous than Armory. The Valley problem is a lot of snipers, I almost died from M10 or AX50 in my legs. Only one map where I loot good is Northridge. The main PvP is in Hotel zone, where it comfortable to do. Armory is like, like true Arena Breakout map where the highest stakes and high possibility to get nice loot. About TV station... I think it's map only for looting and killing peoples, like BAF Factory in Lost Light.

Armory is supposed to be the dangerous "high risk high reward" area, but everyone keeps going in Farmland, yeah Valley has a sniper problem though for most of my deaths it was always assault rifles or shotguns I still quite wonder if there will be a PvE mode like EMUTarkov/SPTarkov

I played both games, and i see their advantages •Lost Light -More simpler -More easier -straight forward -If your new to the Looter Shooter game, play this first as this will introduce you to the basics •Arena Breakout -More complicated systems like -mag checking: you just dont see the ammo count of your gun, you have to check it, plus the ammo count is more broad than spesific, saying either full, more or less than half, half, and empty -Tactical rigs: -Jusr like bags but accessible easier, unlike bags where u have to go to the inventory ui, and use the spesific item in there manually -More complicated Healing -Healing in Arena Breakout is even more complicated since your charac now has 7 parts, head, chest, abdomen, both of the arms and legs, both having their own health count, and also takes damage separately, there are also 2 effects that affect your body parts health like wounded and broken, both requiring a spesific item to be healed (there are still other effects that also affect some parts) -Limited time -Unlike LL, AB has a limited time per match, and when you dont extract in time, you go M.I.A. -So play arena breakout if u understand the basics and wants more challenge
Just came here to say both games are actually really fun in their own right. I like Arena better, but when I play games like this now on my phone I just feel lucky to have so many options.
Arena breakout for the win! I played lost light from the beginning up until the 2nd closed beta testing for arena breakout started. I've been hooked ever since. Don't get me wrong, both games are good but clearly one goes above and beyond what the other could've been.
4:25 there are “hints” that show up when you do something for first time in lobby(f.exp checking ammo type and it will tell you differers between them ) or you could go read them yourself
I also love how in Arena you can play any playstyle you want and both win and lose, You can Play Aggressive and get killed by a Camper or you can play Camp but get destroyed by an Aggressive Player, the only near sure way to win is by utilizing Both playstyles at the right time
I quit Lost Light about 1 month ago. There was too many campers, hackers and audio bugs. And it was so easy to make money that the gears were just so high all the time. I just discovered Arena Breakout and I love it! It feels so much more realistic.

Having experience playing both I could say that Arena Breakout would definitely more mainstream than Lost Light. And I feel that Lost Light would capture more of the casual players since it's relatively easier and more noob friendly. I would prefer playing Arena Breakout though, since it captures the feel of EFT better, even though I know I'd die every single raid.

Please don’t. Arena breakout was great upon release. Now I can’t join without getting killed across the map by someone… . Plus I reported someone for cheating, and it was confirmed. Play lost light instead. Not only is it better, there’s also way less cheaters there too… . However though the bosses still kick butt on both games… so watch out
I played codm since it came out and found lost light a couple months ago. Seeing it as a great change from playing codm for so long. I lost interest in lost light cause how punishing it was playing against PC players while I was on my phone or tablet and the people ganging up on solos. I lost so much gear and money. I found Arena breakout about a week ago and have been enjoying it. Like you stated Lyz1 it isn't very casual. I think the gun play is better, the health system more detailed and the player customization is fantastic (can be unnecessary). Both games have their place if your put and about and you have a half hour but need to get up and go lost light is easier to do. Arena breakout has way more player investment like inventory management cause it seems more limited and is eaten up. Lost light with its shelter system is great and you can run around in your own base building it up. Gives some players a place to screw around in and invite their friends. I might try to give lost light a try again. It's been a while I think since the last outbreak at the beginning of the year or something.
Hi every one here is my take on LL vs AB. First of all both games has the similar vibes as ETV however, both games have their own twist on it. So I will start with AB is that you have to be focus on every movement you do because one simple mistake will cost you dearly and also what I like about it is the looting system because you need to search every part of the map if there is loot there from dead bodies, coats, safes and crates also there is gears sometimes laying there randomly. I have experienced where I had to fight a squad vs my self and I was fortunate enough I won that fight while my team mates are a bit far from my location. The healt system there is quite indept for me because if you die it will show you on where you got hit and where was the killing blow that hit you. Now for LL so what I can say about LL is that it is a good game however its becoming a little bit more like CODM because of the skins also im a fan of both TPP AND FPP screens. What I like about LL is the base system because you can store a lot of items in your storage although the game style is fast paced you really dont have time to react right away. It will catch you by suprise if you are not aware of the surroundings. The graphics is a bit too cartoonish or arcady at time but i got used to it in the long run. Those are my takes on both games But for me honestly I will go with AB because of the game style and the looting system. You can choose on which of the 2 you will play it is up to you.
This is another one of those times like World of tanks vs War thunder or CSgo vs Valorant, It's always based on the player and their experience on the game.
Arena Breakout is closer to EFT cuz of one thing I always want, mag check but both have their own advantages and disadvantages, there's no perfect game unless it is meant for you.
I am currently playing both, if I juat want to get fun and kill some time I use to play lost Light, but if I have plenty of time to play and experience a hardcore game I play arena breakout, I love both games, Lost light a little more arcade , but way more realistic than cod warzone or mobile, and arena breakout is a realistic tactical game , you are right the experience is more like Tarkov.

Lost Light is an arcade game while Arena Breakout is the closest to Escape from tarkov mobile, arena breakout nails everything. I hope they add gun jamming

Well it's true that we should give Lost Light a chance to prove itself, but man if only they chose to fix the issues first before adding IAP features such as skins and all. As of now it'll be a not-so-worthy-to-grind for me. because i'm waiting for netease to fix the issues. Let It Die (PC Steam) is the game I'm playing as TPP Looter/Extraction game. But like what you said, dont bring the game down. it's just bad in pc because it is intended to play on mobile. Maybe just don't expect much because it is a f2p game and is not like other games that are hella-fun at the beginning. Cheers to us who still play Lost Light and chose to wait for the improvements! ❤
They definitely need to stop taking features out of Lost Light. I liked the insurance and solo mode. Now none of that is available not even TPP mode (daily). Matchmaking takes forever unless you go into Duo mode by yourself. Basically you have to put yourself at a disadvantage just to play Lost Light. I'm being extremely patient lol.

I have played both, and in terms of atmosphere, you gotta give it to arena breakout, it feels a lot more tense. And lost light to me personally have two major issue, first is the sound tracking ,in the game is very blurry, unlike arena breakout where you can pinpoint the enemy just by listening, in lost light, it's a lot harder cuz the audio is a bit muddy and blurry. The second is optimization, my phone is running a 8 gen 1, not the most powerful nor thermally stable processor, but it's powerful enough that I can run CODM on medium graphics with 120FPS without major throttling for a 2 hour session, but my phone struggling even on the lowest setting for graphics and frame rates after the first 10 minutes, constant frame drop and being physically impossible to hold because it's too dang hot, but not with arena breakout though, optimization is done so good that I can do 3 full run with no thermal throttling.
Props to you for being mostly unbiased about both titles. I played a lot of Lost Light as well as the other really bad extraction shooter that NetEase has released on mobile, and I find them to be soulless and not as rewarding as Arena Breakout. Arena Breakout has everything you want out of an Tarkov like game, but with it's own unique weapon variety and no sense of urgency when it comes to building up your wealth (the devs have said that they don't plan on ever wiping, meanwhile Lost Light is hard-set to do so every 100 days).

You didn't mention the down sides of both but for lost light their is many bugs and if you get knocked you lose ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT even if you get picked up, you have to race and grab all ur stuff again, that alone is a reason why arena is killing them, arena made me delete LL and I'm never going back
@@YaToGamiKuro if what they said in LL is true, losing your items while downed is a flaw, compared to AB, where when you get downed, you still get hold on your items until you die or revived by a teammate. In terms of realism and balancing, AB wins on that. Imagine how losing your items while down then gets revived, and you lose all of your items. Isnt it very unfair at least?
@@YaToGamiKuro you might be confusing some things. in ab whenever you dont get hit in the crucial parts (head and chest) you have a sliver of time on which you are downed and unable to do anything other than crawl (back first). in that time 3 things can happen: 1st you get finished by the enemy, 2nd is you die from the timer, 3rd is you get helped or revived by your teammate, on which you have already suffered multiple destroyed limbs disabling you from running (if legs are destroyed) and shorter ergonomic stamina and ads stability (if arms are destroyed). If the first two cases happen, you die and lose all items you have used in that run.

Lost light was ok during its beta testing. The only problem that I found was the fact the that gyro wasn't smooth. It would skip a pixel or two when aiming. I brought it up countless times but it was never fixed. Then after release LL kept adding things to the home base and it just became too overwhelming. Objectives became tedious. During the beta testing it was challenging enough, but then you had to do everything to unlock everything. AB was smooth throughout. Gyro was smooth as butter. Game play was unforgiving but worth it. IMO AB has surpassed LL. It's like comparing PubgM/ New State to FreeFire. No, doubt which one is better.

i played Lost light for a while, but when i tried arena breakout the margin between the two games is immense. arena breakout has a lot of features, lost light doesnt even compare. its also the reason i bought tarkov just last week.

I would recommend Arena Breakout's Chinese version more for comparing it to other games. Both versions(Global and Chinese) are by the SAME developers and publishers, the Chinese version was released in around 2022. It features more content and has less bugs, more players and generally better as it is a more developed version and has already been released to the public for more than a year. Being an average gamer who has took time playing both, I personally find our Chinese version being better overall(not saying that Global one is bad), despite one version may differ from the other, I am most certain that the game Arena Breakout will be a special and entertaining mobile game because of it's unique play style. Just if you are curious, here is a few main features that the Chinese version has that the Global one doesn't: Guns: -FAMAS -AUG -AR57 -T951(known as the QBZ) -T03(a Chinese AR) -Groza -TS5 -BIZON -DP12 -MK3(a signal gun used for summoning airdrops) Maps: -TV Station -Military Port Modes: -Battle Royal on North Side Mountain(a limited time mode that happens for a few weeks every few month or so) -Grand Winner Match on Armory(a limited time mode where players are provided equipments for free and when extracted successfully all items found in-game will be converted into points that can redeem stuff) -Upgraded Forbidden/强化封锁(a upgraded version of the Forbidden option that can be chosen on all maps, this mode grants more valuable loot, but at the same time the gear requirements are also extremely high, meaning that fights will be harder than ever) I might have missed a few but I hope you get my point.
I play both. I think lost light is more of a just for fun type deal. And Arena being like a more professional or In depth type of game. Lost Light for more casual play or just wanting to cause destruction. And Arena for a more serious and realistic game.
I've played both games but it's a player's choice of what he should play, I've played LL and I have good experience to it but I got board playing it and after a months I found arena breakout and it was fantastic, the health system etc is good and it's hard core game but it was so fun playing it so I'll give the Win To arena breakout

I stopped playing arena breakout. I was doing pretty good for a while but then it was just constant losing streaks and the biggest problem for me was the last two maps not being accessible unless you have 50k worth of equipment and 15k just to enter. You also rarely survive considering that the escape points are almost always super hard to use with all the extra steps to opening them and the map is also very tiny and packed with players. I like lost light more because its easier.
Me personally prefer playing arena breakout since its gave you mission to play everyday rather than just playing for some loot and arena breakout surprisingly run soooo much better on my phone (im using snapdragon 712 6/128gb) So im leaving lost light just bcos i want to avoid throwing my phone because of frame drop that make me frustrated lol

As a American gamer I wish a American company would take on this genre of mobile gaming ftp without pay to win... With that said I broke down and downloaded lost light after not being able to play Call of Duty Warzone 2 DMZ and I got to say it scratches that DMZ itch without console quality graphics and features. But I am concerned about internet privacy and just what information the company volunteers to the C.C.P. kinda a problem I have with Google here in America and my government. Both government's spy just I believe the Chinese have their ducks more in a row (civilian's afraid of tyranny)
It's always difficult to get things right or to be given what most gamers want. That's how different mindsets are from people who have history only in a corporate settings where money is the top priority, instead of starting out with a background in gaming or being a gamer where the power they have to create an enjoyable gaming experience is an opportunity they take and not waste. NetEase have been notorious for these privacy issues and data usage collection. An alarming concern but nonetheless something they can't get away with without legal repercussions.

Wanting first person instead of third person is more about the gameplay. It's just not fun fighting in third person. You can both stand behind a wall and still see when the other person peeks or runs away. Playing chicken is just not fun.
I prefer Arena Breakout, because Lost Light have too much framerate errors, and i have a good phone. I can play AB in 90 fps, LL give me problems even in very low graphics
Ironically, I'm much better at AB than LL. I struggle to actually make profit and survive on LL, but I do very well at AB. Only times I die in AB is doing something stupid, or getting outplayed if I don't have a partner

After playingLost Light I can tell its bad, if you have a better armor penetration you win any fight since you can tank up to 20 bullets if your armor is better, does not matter where you shoot if you have fullbody armor. Also you spawn in already running games where everything is looted and campers already set up. +Most "real players" are bots to make you think you are good. 😂

Hi every one here is my take on LL vs AB. First of all both games has the similar vibes as ETV however, both games have their own twist on it.
So I will start with AB is that you have to be focus on every movement you do because one simple mistake will cost you dearly and also what I like about it is the looting system because you need to search every part of the map if there is loot there from dead bodies, coats, safes and crates also there is gears sometimes laying there randomly. I have experienced where I had to fight a squad vs my self and I was fortunate enough I won that fight while my team mates are a bit far from my location. The healt system there is quite indept for me because if you die it will show you on where you got hit and where was the killing blow that hit you.
Now for LL so what I can say about LL is that it is a good game however its becoming a little bit more like CODM because of the skins also im a fan of both TPP AND FPP screens. What I like about LL is the base system because you can store a lot of items in your storage although the game style is fast paced you really dont have time to react right away. It will catch you by suprise if you are not aware of the surroundings. The graphics is a bit too cartoonish or arcady at time but i got used to it in the long run.
Those are my takes on both games
But for me honestly I will go with AB because of the game style and the looting system.
You can choose on which of the 2 you will play it is up to you.

Arena Breakout is closer to EFT cuz of one thing I always want, mag check but both have their own advantages and disadvantages, there's no perfect game unless it is meant for you.
I am currently playing both, if I juat want to get fun and kill some time I use to play lost Light, but if I have plenty of time to play and experience a hardcore game I play arena breakout, I love both games, Lost light a little more arcade , but way more realistic than cod warzone or mobile, and arena breakout is a realistic tactical game , you are right the experience is more like Tarkov.
I really think arena breakout just needs flashlights as gun attachments and it fully kills lost light fersure
If Arena Breakout will release night time, flashlights and nvgs will definitely be added.

for Farmland it's small being able to get some quick loot though you may run into players commonly
while Valley is bigger and relaxing, less chance to run into players, mostly facing bots but you still have to be careful for long range combat

Lost Light is an arcade game while Arena Breakout is the closest to Escape from tarkov mobile, arena breakout nails everything. I hope they add gun jamming

Arena Breakout should add some campaign like operation organization that would be fun.
I still play lost light sooo much, prob mainly bc I now play on a laptop more than my phone, I will try arena breakout in my phone and prob main it for mobile gaming while I keep lost light in my laptop.
Well it's true that we should give Lost Light a chance to prove itself, but man if only they chose to fix the issues first before adding IAP features such as skins and all.
As of now it'll be a not-so-worthy-to-grind for me. because i'm waiting for netease to fix the issues.

But like what you said, dont bring the game down. it's just bad in pc because it is intended to play on mobile.
Maybe just don't expect much because it is a f2p game and is not like other games that are hella-fun at the beginning.

They definitely need to stop taking features out of Lost Light. I liked the insurance and solo mode. Now none of that is available not even TPP mode (daily). Matchmaking takes forever unless you go into Duo mode by yourself. Basically you have to put yourself at a disadvantage just to play Lost Light. I'm being extremely patient lol.

I just hate that they will tell you to "BE GOOD" in the game when you just want to play it peacefully lol.

@@amygdalae966 yes the removed it. It will still recommend you insure your stuff but the option is gone. I'm not sure why they keep removing stuff. Same with solo and squads
up till now they havent fix the 4 team squad that is still locked at lost light so many bugs they need to fix
I have played both, and in terms of atmosphere, you gotta give it to arena breakout, it feels a lot more tense. And lost light to me personally have two major issue, first is the sound tracking ,in the game is very blurry, unlike arena breakout where you can pinpoint the enemy just by listening, in lost light, it's a lot harder cuz the audio is a bit muddy and blurry. The second is optimization, my phone is running a 8 gen 1, not the most powerful nor thermally stable processor, but it's powerful enough that I can run CODM on medium graphics with 120FPS without major throttling for a 2 hour session, but my phone struggling even on the lowest setting for graphics and frame rates after the first 10 minutes, constant frame drop and being physically impossible to hold because it's too dang hot, but not with arena breakout though, optimization is done so good that I can do 3 full run with no thermal throttling.
Props to you for being mostly unbiased about both titles. I played a lot of Lost Light as well as the other really bad extraction shooter that NetEase has released on mobile, and I find them to be soulless and not as rewarding as Arena Breakout. Arena Breakout has everything you want out of an Tarkov like game, but with it's own unique weapon variety and no sense of urgency when it comes to building up your wealth (the devs have said that they don't plan on ever wiping, meanwhile Lost Light is hard-set to do so every 100 days).
only if it will be released for pc officially, because, cmon, i wasnt ready to mobile games be that unoptimised but with good gameplay.

It's actually based on the person because each person has their own thinking so it doesn't depend if lost light is better than arena breakout because it just depends on the person who likes it or not
You didn't mention the down sides of both but for lost light their is many bugs and if you get knocked you lose ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT even if you get picked up, you have to race and grab all ur stuff again, that alone is a reason why arena is killing them, arena made me delete LL and I'm never going back

@@YaToGamiKuro if what they said in LL is true, losing your items while downed is a flaw, compared to AB, where when you get downed, you still get hold on your items until you die or revived by a teammate.
In terms of realism and balancing, AB wins on that. Imagine how losing your items while down then gets revived, and you lose all of your items. Isnt it very unfair at least?

@@YaToGamiKuro you might be confusing some things. in ab whenever you dont get hit in the crucial parts (head and chest) you have a sliver of time on which you are downed and unable to do anything other than crawl (back first). in that time 3 things can happen: 1st you get finished by the enemy, 2nd is you die from the timer, 3rd is you get helped or revived by your teammate, on which you have already suffered multiple destroyed limbs disabling you from running (if legs are destroyed) and shorter ergonomic stamina and ads stability (if arms are destroyed).
If the first two cases happen, you die and lose all items you have used in that run.

I played LL for 2 days and moved to ABO just from one match
I love them both if I want a challenge I go to ab but if I just want to run a shoot I pick lost light :)

Lost light is really fun but there are too many bugs.
Lost light was ok during its beta testing. The only problem that I found was the fact the that gyro wasn't smooth. It would skip a pixel or two when aiming. I brought it up countless times but it was never fixed.
Then after release LL kept adding things to the home base and it just became too overwhelming. Objectives became tedious. During the beta testing it was challenging enough, but then you had to do everything to unlock everything.
AB was smooth throughout. Gyro was smooth as butter. Game play was unforgiving but worth it.
IMO AB has surpassed LL. It's like comparing PubgM/ New State to FreeFire. No, doubt which one is better.

i played Lost light for a while, but when i tried arena breakout the margin between the two games is immense. arena breakout has a lot of features, lost light doesnt even compare. its also the reason i bought tarkov just last week.
I just love the genre of the game, for it's difficult thought arena breakout just won't give a damn to the players just rng when the spawning player will come from

Lighting and colors look better on lost light
I would recommend Arena Breakout's Chinese version more for comparing it to other games. Both versions(Global and Chinese) are by the SAME developers and publishers, the Chinese version was released in around 2022. It features more content and has less bugs, more players and generally better as it is a more developed version and has already been released to the public for more than a year. Being an average gamer who has took time playing both, I personally find our Chinese version being better overall(not saying that Global one is bad), despite one version may differ from the other, I am most certain that the game Arena Breakout will be a special and entertaining mobile game because of it's unique play style.
Just if you are curious, here is a few main features that the Chinese version has that the Global one doesn't:

I've played both games but it's a player's choice of what he should play, I've played LL and I have good experience to it but I got board playing it and after a months I found arena breakout and it was fantastic, the health system etc is good and it's hard core game but it was so fun playing it so I'll give the Win

I stopped playing arena breakout. I was doing pretty good for a while but then it was just constant losing streaks and the biggest problem for me was the last two maps not being accessible unless you have 50k worth of equipment and 15k just to enter. You also rarely survive considering that the escape points are almost always super hard to use with all the extra steps to opening them and the map is also very tiny and packed with players. I like lost light more because its easier.

As a American gamer I wish a American company would take on this genre of mobile gaming ftp without pay to win...
With that said I broke down and downloaded lost light after not being able to play Call of Duty Warzone 2 DMZ and I got to say it scratches that DMZ itch without console quality graphics and features. But I am concerned about internet privacy and just what information the company volunteers to the C.C.P. kinda a problem I have with Google here in America and my government. Both government's spy just I believe the Chinese have their ducks more in a row (civilian's afraid of tyranny)
It's always difficult to get things right or to be given what most gamers want. That's how different mindsets are from people who have history only in a corporate settings where money is the top priority, instead of starting out with a background in gaming or being a gamer where the power they have to create an enjoyable gaming experience is an opportunity they take and not waste.
NetEase have been notorious for these privacy issues and data usage collection. An alarming concern but nonetheless something they can't get away with without legal repercussions.

What if most the players are kids 10 to 15 of age? Like most of South asian players here
Wanting first person instead of third person is more about the gameplay. It's just not fun fighting in third person. You can both stand behind a wall and still see when the other person peeks or runs away. Playing chicken is just not fun.
The fact the people still hate mobile for its knockoffs and dont look on the good side (codM, arena breakout etc, etc.)

I prefer Arena Breakout, because Lost Light have too much framerate errors, and i have a good phone.

Ironically, I'm much better at AB than LL. I struggle to actually make profit and survive on LL, but I do very well at AB. Only times I die in AB is doing something stupid, or getting outplayed if I don't have a partner

After playingLost Light I can tell its bad, if you have a better armor penetration you win any fight since you can tank up to 20 bullets if your armor is better, does not matter where you shoot if you have fullbody armor.
Also you spawn in already running games where everything is looted and campers already set up.
+Most "real players" are bots to make you think you are good. 😂

I doubt they will release a PC version of it anytime soon. You can try using an emulator though it has the risk of your account getting banned.
