My coworker age 40 passed away unexpectedly and her mother opted to have the nursing honor guard at her funeral. It was the most beautiful and moving thing. This video actually does not do it justice.
So beautiful. Nursing is a vocation. way of life. Our patients are a sacred trust. I am surprised to see this honor guard and recognition of the nurse's dedication and fulfillment of her duty. Very touching.

A dear church member from my area recently passed and she was a long time nurse in our area. She was not only a beloved member of our church but also of our community as well. I will get to witness this ceremony first hand tomorrow during her chapel services.
