    These cars are looking better and better, please keep the manufacture aero kits. All the series needs is more hp and let the engines be LOUDER.

      Aero kits look awful but I do like the manufacturer aspect. But yes more power and noise!

      +Shark24 ...Really??? The standard pkg was hideous with the humps in front of the wheel? These look nice and smooth, aero is aero and the cars are looking more like the sexy Lola's, March's, Swift's, and Panoz of the Cart days. It'll be interesting to see which way they will go in 18. It's funny the team owners complain about the aero costs. Yet they spend millions on their shock programs. That's the big difference between Andreotti, Chip, and Penske. The big three spend tons on their shocks, that's where their advantage is. Want to cut costs and let the manufacturer spend money on HP?Make the shocks a spec part provided by Dalara. Instant money saved that can go to aero and HP!

      +TheUsmc1488 I never said the base DW12 aero was any better but the current is not what I would call an improvement. I'd prefer manufacturer development but not in the current state of the series. instead I'm hoping come 2018 a new great looking spec aero kit his the track.

      +Shark24 Did you see when they tested the cars with out the pods????? GORGEOUS!!!!

    • @Shark2497
      @Shark2497 8 лет назад

      TheUsmc1488 Yes I did and I'm hoping the removal of the pods will be included in the pending aero change in 2018.

    i havent been to an indycar race since the 500 in 08 are the engines quieter than the old ones or just as loud?

    • @theonyxace4946
      @theonyxace4946 7 лет назад

      michael touse I wouldn't say they are more quiet. They are satisfyingly loud, nice turbo sound, more powerful engines, and you can actually talk during the race compared to the old Honda V8. Also the current Honda V6 is starting to sound like the old Buick V6 from the 90s

  • @TomGorian

    What engine are these cars? Same then F1 or????

    • @theonyxace4946
      @theonyxace4946 7 лет назад

      TomGorian 2.6 liter V6 twin turbo. No hybrid. Produces on average 750 hp

    Funny how you keep pronounce the russian guys last name. Is it really correct? Sounds like you are saying "A Lotion". Try "A Le Shin"! :D Btw, thanks a lot for uploading! Very much appreciated for us unlucky who cant watch it live.

      I think it's a different "e" than what is written in English (I've never seen his name in Cyrillic). If it's what I think it is, it should be even more funky sounding like "Al-iyo-shin"

    Indycar need to stop pulling out the safety car every time there is an incident. let the cars race under local yellow if the crashed car is way out of the track and the driver is visibly ok and responsive. all the safety car deployments make 90% of the race meaningless.

    • @Kevin_VER

      YOUR FACE that's why the races are entertaining to the end because of the safety car

    Closing the pits for yellows is dangerous and completely negates the hard work of the leader.

    Look how shit these tracks look compared to the F1 tracks. F1 tracks are much better taken care of and built.

    • @ceeam

      The races are more orderly too! >_>

    • @EliteOwnage101

      Most F1 Tracks have Way to much runoff, Indycar has a much greater chance for almost any Team to win w/ the right strategy & Driver's Skill.
      The Tracks are ment to be Weathered & Worn for extra Challenge/Driver Fatigue to Settle in + No Powersteering...

    • @dt7353
      @dt7353 8 лет назад +4

      Taken care of, yes, built, no. F1 tracks are parking lots with a track painted in. And Bernie is fighting hard to get the old good ones still around off the schedule.
