- The 2020 season wasn't only different for the players, it also provided challenges for broadcasters. Rather than traveling to away games, broadcasters called those games remotely from Wrigley Field off of TV monitors. In this segment, Cubs radio team Pat Hughes and Ron Coomer share how they adapted to this and other changes to their routine in 2020.

I’m sure this has been said before, but after listening to Pat Ron and Zach all these years, it’s kinda surreal actually seeing them talk. These guys deserve to be on camera more often
Pat Hughes is the best in the business. End of story.
Chicago Cubs baseball is on the air from Wrigley Field in Chicago
Sorry but his voice really grates that high pitched nasal whine just bugs me. But that's life we can't all like the same things and that goes for voices too.
Pat is a HOF in my mind
he is now
Broadcasting in a dark empty, quite ballpark- depressing. Can't wait until we can move past this. I know things may never be Exactly the same but we Def gotta move forward here and hope 2022 things can AT LEAST be more normal.
Love Pat Hughes. I love listening to his broadcasts down here in Florida. I hope someday to meet him, and call a game with him one day. That would be the coolest ever.
We love the Cubs
SO ready for some CUBS baseball!! Go Cubsa Go!! ⚾🍺🐻
#ExtendRizzo
Go Cubs
WHY was Pat Hughes not given the tv job?
He signed a multi-year contract extension after the 2018 season.
Let's go CUBS👌😎👍🇵🇼
Now extend Rizzo.
That was interesting. However, the title is misleading. They never showed off the equipment and described how it all worked together.
Yeah it’s a shame I can’t afford to almost $100-$180 per month (depending on the provider) to get Marquee. A independent app to purchase would be much cheaper and greatly appreciated . It’s sad because I miss Cubs baseball
If you are a TMobile customer you can get MLB TV FREE the entire season. They've offered that for at least 3 seasons now. I'll be signing up again on March 31st. So excited.
@@jann3443 I had that offer last season. I am sorry but you don’t get any of the regular season games except via radio. The only game I saw on app was spring training and this year they waited until regular season to offer access to the app.
@@judyfrietsch6477 That's not what I got with MLB TV thru T Mobile. I saw every simgje game from Opening Day to the very end.
@@jann3443 I don't know but the minute I got it I was really excited until I realized I was blocked for all regular season games
@@judyfrietsch6477 After thinking about it, it occurred to me that you must live in the Chicago area! I live in Missouri and that's why I get all of the CUBS games. If I was interested in the Cardinals (which I never am) I'd have to watch on the Cardinals tv station. And that does happen when the CUBS are here. So sorry to confuse you.
I LOVE Pat and Ron, HOWEVER, you HAVE to stop JINXING those poor cubbie players! Whenever you talk about what they NEED to do in any given situation, they are likely to do the exact OPPOSITE, and that is such a DOWNER! I can't take it anymore!
Players>broadcasters
Another subpar aspect of the new normal. Like sheep led to the slaughter.
The amusing drink partially tow because vietnam naturally prepare opposite a jumbled front. inquisitive, craven fang
Hi Chicago I’m first
