    What I hate as a Tunisian with such salespeople is how they insist on looking at other things. The customer politely answered no several times, but the woman still insists... then she was surprised when she saw that he was filming and didn't want to say the price out loud... Plus, as a veiled woman, she swears to God that the price is okay even though it isn't!!!

      Carthaginian influence my brother not berber inluence its only Carthaginian. The word Berber was given by the Romans to the Carthaginians, but the people of Tunisia called themselves Carthaginians and never said that they were Berbers, Amazighs, Phoenicians, or any other names. The people of Tunisia are only Carthaginians, and stop spreading these illusions. We are only Carthaginians.

      She was charging a very high price bro it’s very normal in the markets that they do that, so it’s very normal to negotiate. I wouldn’t usually if the price seemed fair but she wanted to charge me over 30 quid for the items which were honestly not great, I just wanted to support her in some way but not get ripped off.

    Taboona bread is Carthaginian bread. These are villages that we call mountain villages in Tunisia, but to attract tourists they have started calling them Berber villages. When we go back in history, the word Berber was given by the Romans to the Carthaginians, meaning that they have no relation to the Berbers.

    • @AksilDihya
      @AksilDihya 2 месяца назад +3

      Not true , Cathagians were a minority in the northern coast of Tunisia, most Tunisians are berbèrs. Even DNA studies showed that middle eastern roots (arabs and pheniciens) in Tunisia are very low and rare.

    • @TheTruth-mr3ml
      @TheTruth-mr3ml 2 месяца назад +1

      @@AksilDihya First of all, if you know history, Carthage is a great civilization and its cities extend south to Kebili and Tozeur. The evidence for this is that there are Carthaginian cities and Carthaginian writings in southern Tunisia, as well as Carthaginian coins that contain drawings of palm trees. There are no palm trees on the coast or the north, but they are found in the south, especially in Tozeur. I am from Gafsa and from the south, and let me tell you, I do not know Berbers or Amazighs, but I heard about them recently on TV on channels in neighboring countries. I am from the south and I do not know anything about the Berbers. Carthage existed before the Berbers, and for your information, genetic analyses of Tunisians confirmed that they are direct descendants of the Carthaginians. Also, the Carthaginians do not have Levantine genes. So everything you said is baseless. As for the Phoenicians, this is a Greek word meaning the land of dates or the dark red color, and it means a land where there are dates. As for the myth of Elissa and the bull’s skin, we all know that it is a myth, like the myth of the two brothers who came from Turkey, Remus and Romulus, who were suckled by a she-wolf and founded Rome. Are the Romans Turks then?

    • @TheTruth-mr3ml
