@@RideQuick thanks for the feedback, yeah I’ve been told that if I got a slip on I should pair with an ecu flash. Just wondering if you had one. If it runs fine without I may not get one at all.
@@goldenshark1001 I have a M1200R with an SC-Project and yes it will run but believe me, it will run much better with a tune. I had my ECU flashed by Rexxer but there are many more options now available.
does anyone know if Ducati is eventually going to make a new big twin Monster replacement for the 1200? We're down to only the small new Monster now with the 955.
They haven't announced any plans to replace the 1200. The M950SP is coming soon and it isn't much slower than the 1200S in a straight line and with the 950SP's lighter weight and updated suspension, it's not gonna handle any better, either. They're phasing out big twins. The big Multistrada are now V4s, even the Pikes Peak, as well as the Diavel: V4 now.
I could be wrong but I think that's it unfortunately. Personally, I think there may be room in the line-up for a big V2 but financially, a big Monster could cannibalize the Streetfigter's sales.
I really like how the bike looks
Looks super clean with that shortened exhaust huh. The Monster 1200 is a fantastic looking bike.
It sure is. Too bad it's gone.
GREAT SOUND!
Som do esoape nacional muito mais bonito
Hello. How did you activate the automatic light? Second 1:08.
Looks beautiful! I have the same exhaust and idle problem on my 821, at times it drops in rpm and then it evens out. were you able to solve it?
It didn't come in for a running issue. But, it also didn't have a tune, either.
That sounds great!
You should hear it under load.
Nice! Monster
Great video, I just ordered mine! Did you run a tune?
You mean, ECU map? No. Just the pipe.

It'll run fine. It may idle a little funny; intermittent surging, but run perfectly fine on the gas.
Sure. You will certainly benefit from having a proper mapping, but the bike will still run without it.

Do you have to use mapping for that slip-on exhaust?
You don't have to, but it certainly helps if you do.
@@RideQuick thanks mate
Anybody know what fender delete kit that is?
I believe it's an NRC kit. (New Rage Cycles)
I would to own that one
Which bike is in the back with white and red color...?
There was a M696 Monster in the background that had a red frame and white tank...?
God I miss my 1200...
What happened to it?
