- Hello everyone, it's been around two months. (again..) Will I ever start posting more frequently? Maybe not.
Anyways, here's that Fireflies cover I promised I'd make. I actually finished doing the cover and art like two weeks ago but I only decided to make the video just recently... and now there are two people who posted their covers and I'm just here like... "Am I ever going to be the first to post a cover? *cries internally*"
I did my best to follow the original.
I put so much effort into this cover, and it still sounds disgusting... I'm trying my best to give him emotion... You have no idea how much time it took me to tune all those phonemes. Welp. I tried. And failed. This song was so difficult to mix though... (probably as difficult as Reversible Campaign)
And yes, I know about the meme that's going around...
I apologize if some of the lyrics on the video are wrong, I didn't really use a reference.
By the way, I'll be making more Owl City covers soon, so if you have any suggestions on which songs I should do, pliz comment. At the moment I'm working on Mad Hatter by Melanie Martinez. I'm still doing Japanese covers but I'm going to finish what's on my checklist first.

I love Owl City, I love Vocaloid, this is perfect.
Not to mention that Owl actually collaborated with Satoshi Fukase...
That makes sense since Owl City and Sekai no Owari collaborated for the song, Tokyo
(Fukase Satoshi, Fukase's voice provider is also the lead singer of the band)
Just my two cents for people who don't know out there..
They collaborated on Mr. Heartache too, but Adam didn't have a vocal part and only did the instrumentals.

One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite vocaloid
I remember way back in 2014, I was listening to the Nightcore one unironically for absolute hours. There was something so calming about covers/mixes like these that made me feel safe and like I'm just vibing with Peter Pan in Neverland or smthn (the Disney movies were and still are my most favourites).
I was about 9 years old then, and now I'm going to be 18 soon, and here I am, still listening to the same song, with the same wholesome vibe of just me and Fukase doing random chaos in a forest like children.
Looks like Fireflies is still sticking to me as I grow up. Glad I stumbled upon this and thank you for making this masterpiece lol.

"Bring Me To Life" looks a little difficult, especially since there's a lot of extra vocals and a hella lot of emotion... but, I think I'll put it in my to-do list(only specifically because you asked). As for your recordings, if you really want to have a duet, I would request that you first send a sample of your voice. :3 One more thing, if you want to use your vocals, you have to make sure that your recordings are good enough quality(not choppy, minimal noise, and can be understood). I'm not asking for perfect quality, but the higher the quality, the better. Otherwise, I'll be using Gumi or Ruby's vocals.
