Giving the homeless a lift, one bike at a time. That's the heart and mission statement of Russ Durham, founder of Rusty's Bicycle Recycle.
Rusty’s Bicycle Recycle is a 100% volunteer organization, no employees. We repair donated bicycles and deliver them to partner charities who serve the unhoused, including homeless veterans and foster children. Many of our volunteers have been associated with the organization since its inception. Our charity relies on Public Support and donations to repair and deliver over 2000 donated bicycles each year.
