Really great looking product. Sort of wish the base locked in more steadily. Little worried about the unlikely risk of getting knocked over or sliding little by little as it is handled to add wood etc.
It is an issue, but even if it comes off the stand it doesn’t fall enough to flip it over. So it would at worst be ANNOYING
Do you have a solo stove bonfire 2.0?
Honestly it IS a bit pricey imo but it'd be nice to have for those cold nights, eh? Thanks much, Andrew!
Very expensive!

Do these cause your logs to last longer or less,?
I've got the first version but the new 2.0 is something I'll have to look out for. Much easier to get rid of the ash.
Yeah, apparently night and day better than the first version

without the heat deflector, majority of the heat is being wasted.
Yes it is, but even without heat reflector it still radiates a ton of heat
It's works best if you load the chamber fully, then light front the top. It's called an upside down fire and it helps it burn the cleanest and longest. They flame will be completely from the holes only.
really ?
Burn mine on my wooden deck all the time. The stand keeps it high enough it never burns the deck.
Great info to know. Thanks bud
I've looked at these. They're nice but a bit more than I'm willing to spend. They look to be made very well though
Yeah VERY EXPENSIVE. Used Dryer Drum works great as well
@@GY6outdoors that's a good idea. They have all kinds of holes for that secondary burn and smokeless feature. I've seen something similar they sell for burning stumps in the yard. Smaller diameter, taller, but essentially a dryer drum.
Did you get out to fill your tags this season. It was a bust for me. Didn't get much hunting in, and I only saw a handful of deer. One nice bull elk but 400 yards on the wrong side of the fence.
