Well the ones who have had the best work done on them shouldn't have any awareness. Just using the most energy efficient vocalisations, which happen to sound sad.
@@Frosty-kz4om Fun fact, they don't truly lobotomize you half the time. Basically your mind is still intact but just in a type of hibernation. Worst case you're fully aware but have no control, your body is your prison. Best case? Your mind is in a happy place and they intentionally choose a happy place. They often don't truly lobotomize you because they need your brain fully intact and capable of accepting new information and to be adaptable etc. Also they do sometimes make it so you're fully aware of everything including pain as a punishment and you can't repent if you don't know you're being punished. Most servitors are vat grown and or clones though so it doesn't matter 90% of the time. 40k is fun :D.
Many for the Servitors here could be failed space marines. People who the process of becoming a space marines failed and becoming a servitor allows them to continue to serve.
They always sound depressed. "Damaged :("
If you were forcibly lobotomized through the nose and had your..... Equipment.... Cut off... You'd be too (and you're awake during this!)

With honesty, sometimes I feel bad whenever I walk past them. :/
It's even worse when you find out what becoming a Servitor actually entails. To say the least? It's quite literally a fate worse than death.
@@Illuminautable or perhaps a fate after death that is worse than before the revival
Feeling bad is heresy. Report to the nearest tech-convent for your scheduled servitorisation.
Theese are super criminals usually

Most actually become chapter serfs. Servitors are typically prisoners.
