    Now, the mist across the window hides the lines
    But nothing hides the color of the lights that shine
    Electricity so fine
    Look and dry your eyes
    We are tired of all the darkness in our lives
    With no more angry words to say can come alive
    Jump into the car and drive to the other side….stepping out
    Into the night, into the light…groovin stepping out, into the night, into the light…
    fubba dubba dub, dayo doddle.
    (Sax solo)
    you can dress in pink and blue just like child..a and get into the taxi, turn to me and smile
    We'll be there in just a while….we can blah blah blah blah blah…..
    If you jump and follow me babe
    Steppin out into the night, into the light….groovin steppin out…..
    Me babe, steppin' out Into the night, into the light……….😊

    When the cover is a BILLION TIMES better than the original...

    • @kevdmiller
      @kevdmiller 3 года назад

      Well dunno about a BILLION but yeah I do like Kurt's version more. Love Joe, but always thought this song was a little cheezy, between the synth/80's drum machine a the syrupy vocal scoops it was never my favorite of his. But this is SO HIP. I feared that leaning into the jazz vocals might make it worse, but Kurt's stylings are so damn tasty (ALWAYS), it totally takes the song to the next level.
