Man I love your videos I don’t know if you’ve done a video on your collection of saws but if you haven’t would love to see!

Have you ever ran into spark problems with those macs?

Not much at all, the electronic coils are pretty bulletproof from my experience, with points I’ve only had one or two condensors go bad ever, and maybe the same amount with points, typically a clean up and regap of the points will produce nice strong spark. People throw those chips in them because they are cheap, but mainly lazy, points on saws rarely truely wear out, just need cleaned and regapped

Had a ProMac 10-10 give me issues from the coil going bad internally with the laminating. It would spark but only with high rpm turning the flywheel. I replaced the coil with one from a 610, which are readily available on eBay, just need to shorten the plug wire.
