I remember when I first started working on my listening skills, all Korean videos seemed fast, even when I slowed them down. It's not that she's talking fast, it's just you're listening skills are still lagging (if you're having a hard time understanding). With much practice, I promise it'll get better. You'll have experience this process for yourself like I did!

I loooove this series! seriously please keep on doing these videos! because I have not the chance to practice my listening skills, it really helps a lot! it helps me to get slowly used to hearing the language! really awesome!!

These are my favorite. I can read the subtitles and translations at the same time. And I can even slow down the playing speed further manually if I wanted to. It’s the best listening practice.

With Spanish being the worlds 2nd fastest language next to Japanese, when I compare the two from normal conversations, I can really notice the difference.
💀Not to say it makes learning Korean any easier for me but it’s a thought I had . The languages are naturally spoken at different speeds but it doesn’t affect the learning process for me much, I guess I’m just adjusting to it as others typically would. (I’m learning both Spanish and Korean at the moment, working towards fluency in conversation for both lol)

is it too much to highlight the words as they are being spoken, like a karaoke? for me this is still too fast :(

    • @Fubbel42

You can set the playback speed to .75 or even .5, maybe that would help you?

ive totally forgot that option but now i see that the slower i set the speed the more robotic she sounds, but it helps a lot anyways. thanks!

Shanene Larissa try to speed it up to 1.5 and hear it a few times then speed it again to 2 and hear it more times until your brain get used to that speed, then change it to normal speed and you will hear it like it was slow

Cassandra Angustia They have the basic sentence structure of subject object verb but your not gonna get how sentence structure in Korean is unless you follow their free lessons or get their text/workbook. I'm just now starting to be able to create a sentence without many errors. 😵😁

It does help to know its a Subject Object Verb structure, and the only way I was able to learn this properly was through many, many, many examples. Practice as much as possible! I didn't have any textbooks for a while, so I wrote my own sentences and traslated them on google translate or Naver.

If you still find it fast, just slow down the video to 0.75... It sounds quite unnatural but can really help if you're a beginner. Listen to it a few times slower and then have it on normal speed~

한국에서 배달해 먹는 음식을 자주 주무한다고 들었을 때 진짜 놀렸네요! 스페인에서 배달할 수 있는 음식이 많지 않아서 우리는 그냥 식당에 가고 같이 먹어요. 근데 요즘 맥도날드를 배달하는 것 같아서 해 보고싶어요 ㅋㅋ

I really love all of the content you guys have created. Learning Korean is very easy for me, thanks to TTMIK. I was wandering if you guys have ever thought about developing an app for mobile phones. I think that it would be extremely useful to have an app. As a 14 year old, I tend to have my phone with me most of the time and when I am bored I would like to study Korean but, I don't have my books or computer. It is just an idea of mine and I thought I would share it with you guys. Keep up the great work.

Does it make sense? Are there mistakes?
I dont like food so much, but the video is good. It would be good to have one without title and afterwards the one with the title...

It means something like "please watch the video" or "let's watch the video" like the translation given in the video. Not all sentences can be translated using dictionaries because you need to know the dictionary form of the words to check it up using a dictionary.

This is impossinbe to learn from without a LITERAL translation of the Korean words below in English. To change it to the way it's said in English without the literal translation is useless. Plus this is only slightly slower. A mark (like a dot) should indicate where you are in the Korean sentence, and the literal translation showing below. THEN you could say how it would be said in English. But you REALLY need that bridge vetween the two, please . . .
