I used to live in Oregon and remember A&W in the 90s being really good. I have had it in the last 5 years out there and enjoyed it still, but the only ones we have here in the midwest are paired with like Long John Silver and are dirty and not good. I also remember Dairy Queen has pretty good burgers and fries back then too. Could just be nostalgia.

The Chic-fil-a near me has an indoor eating area and a kids play area. I honestly think those play areas are petri dishes. Ive never seen a Sonic with an inside though I know there are a few.

Loooove that the boys are trying to be in studio more. Gotta tighten up the beginning of the show. I wonder what retention rate is during the Nick monologue at the beginning. I have listened since around episode 20 and I love the monologues but it doesn’t translate to a video format on RUclips. Just giving some feedback for my favorite podcast of all time.
Edit: Maybe a funny slide show that correlates with Wige’s monologue? Idk

idk buddy, i think the tight clever writing at the beginning really welcomes you to the show, before it sorta flows out to being conversational. I was cackling at the "now he's facing multiple iphone game lawsuits" bit as I was vaguely familiar with the guy. I suppose it depends on how in on the pun a viewer is. Personally I'm loving it
Just rediscovered burgerboy and spoonman after taking a break from podcasts for a couple years and getting to see Wiger’s disembodied head reading the _spooooky_ shockdoughbooerfest intros was so stupidly funny. They really added a nice touch to Nick’s meandering, slightly unhinged, fun fact filled monologues.
That intro animation is FIRE

I love that the Boys are on YT, but I am hearing the audio drop out about every 30 second or so. It's just for a millisecond, but words are just missing. This has been occurring for all of the latest records, and it reoccurs if i rewind and play back.
I thiiiink there are some Sonics with indoor seating.

I grew up in Oklahoma City and I definitely think tipping at Sonic specifically is kind of unspoken etiquette, or at least telling them to keep the change. Before they added the ability to tip on your card I really avoided going there without cash. When I went to a new location in Connecticut, maybe the first or second one they had in the state, I noticed there were branded signs telling people that carhops appreciate tips

Norm is one hundred percent correct. Sonic is middling at best. It sucks that Mitch is blaming Nick for Sonic putting out a bad item, it's not on Nick that a restaurant presents something that isn't good. That's literally the restaurants fault. A restaurant has to be judge on the items it serves, not on what you like from them.
It’s a comedy podcast
I think the Mario Cart stuff is more indicative of Nintendo's adult bias, rather than an american bias. They make stuff for kids. They know that people who aren't kids buy their stuff, but that doesn't change how they operate. Kids first. It's why their online stuff is so slight and why Pokemon games don't get any harder
We need to get Apodaca back on ASAP to review Sonic to right this wrong.

I can't stand Sonic I don't get the love for it, the ice cream is so grainy and ice-y feels like it has sand in it. Get it outta the platinum plate club!
It used to be way better in the 90s and 00s, imo. Its gone way downhill. Also think Custard has ruined most ice cream for me.
I;m not sure if I was dumb and Doughboys was always morning radio or if they sellout and turned into morning radio.
