Omg I found her account like 1 month ago and told all my friends about it. We all reported her videos and the next day around 70 of her “Worse” videos got taken down. I just wanna thank you for speaking up about this cause the more people that we get to report her content the less that everyone has to see because I’m 14 and I really don’t want to see this stuff.

I had a diseased kidney (removed now) and one time in hospital laying in an A&E assessment bay I said my pain was 7/10. The nurses went and stood outside the curtain laughing and saying ‘sure she’s a 7, more like a 3 and just wants painkillers’
I had never asked for pain relief. I needed an urgent catheter and IV antibiotics. Turns out I was pre-septic and spent a week in hospital. 11 years later it still makes me angry.
I have no problem with Medical staff (or any other staff) venting and joking around, it can help to to have a whinge and a laugh about your job. But do it privately, in your own time, and don’t bloody share it to the world!
Here’s one of the biggest examples on why a lot of people want TikTok to be banned. Not only that but they need to get fired from their career

Fun fact: when I was in my early 20s (I’m 51 now) I’d gone through training at the county nursing home to become a certified CNA. Near the end of my training, I learned the floor I was going to be assigned to was a men’s floor… I had- concerns- about what to do in certain situations as things happen, including men meeting their own needs. Embarrassed as I was, I had to delicately ask my instructor, amid all the giggles my questions received from my classmates, what to do if we had to take care of a resident and found them “taking matters into their own hands”, as I put it. The response was to keep our cool, pretend it wasn’t happening, walk out and come back when they were done. Fair enough… But I also had to ask what to do if they should happen to “rise to the occasion” while we were bathing them (a lot of the time they got bed baths). Her matter of fact response had everyone but me howling with laughter (I was just embarrassed I had to ask). She told me that, should that happen, just give it a little flick (proceeded to demonstrate with her fingers) and it’ll go right down… Omg… I was mortified to have asked those questions, but I knew damn well those issues could occur and I needed to know how to handle it if they did. Thankfully I never had to flick anyone, but I did have to walk out of rooms, embarrassed and blushing, to come back when they were finished “taking care of business”. It took me a long time to stop being embarrassed and look at it as no big deal. But to act this way as a CNA is completely inappropriate and disturbing. She needs to be fired.

This is disgusting. My mother is a nurse and she got covid multiple times, was exhausted, and I never really saw her during covid because she was working hard to keep patients alive, and then there are nurses like THIS. These nurses not only aren't doing their jobs, they're making others pull from their work just to do more. That's time with my mom I will never get back because she was working over time. She's had multiple surgeries and is such a hard worker for being in pain, and pulling weight where these "nurses" can't be bothered to.

They don’t. They almost let my husband die of pneumonia. The ONLY reason he got real help was because his sister works in billing at one of the hospitals and PRESSED them to admit him!
I make sure I go to 2 different hospitals to get two different opinions so I don't mess my health up with the doctors that don't care these days
Before everyone needed all the schooling to be in healthcare only people who cared kept working.

As a retired nurse, dancing, twerking and just generally talking crap about your patients is just unacceptable, imo. I know the hospitals I worked at, would have shown them the front door. It's not that I'm not for having fun at work, especially because at times, it's high stress and you need to get relief, but it's a bad look for the hospital. If they do that stuff, at least don't upload it, it will make some patients feel like nurses don't really care about them and that it's all just a joke and that we laugh at our patient's expense. Could you imagine if you were just in the hospital and you see the nurse that cared for you on YT or Tiktok complaining about her patients? Even if she wasn't speaking about you, you would probably assume she is. It's just sad that some nurses don't respect not only their patients, but their job and work place. Even if they don't, that's something you keep to yourself, imo.

That's not true for everyone. As someone with chronic pain 24/7 and I can say for certainty, that many people can talk if their pain level is that high. However, for those with chronic pain, the pain chart from scale from 0 to 10 doesn't work well for us to describe where our pain levels really are. My pain level of 6 could easily be a level 10 for someone who doesn't experience chronic pain. You get used to being in pain and it's common to develop a high tolerance for it.
@@dragonfliesnh4204 That is true. People have different levels for pain tolerance - what can be a 10 for one could be a 6 or 7 for another, but I guess that’s why they still ask because if one can tolerate it at a 6 then it must be downright awful when a 10.
When I had gone to the ER over pain on my right upper abdomen, I learned I had hydronephrosis (bladder backs up into my kidney and causes it to swell due to a natural blockage along the ureter I have, causing a sharp pain that can be like a pulled muscle).
I had been dealing with the pain on and off for about 3-4wks prior. It was touch and go, and I convinced myself I needed to get back to drinking more water thinking maybe I was enjoying too much coffee. Until the pain came back and it was intense, but I told them it was maybe a 6-7 compared to the pain I dealt with before (like, it hurt, but I still did my usual routines prior). During intake, I told the nurse that it has to be bad enough for me to even think about going to the ER, but that I can’t honestly label it anywhere from 8 to 10 because to me that would be pain comparable to like losing a limb, being in a major accident, etc. It hurt, but not THAT type of hurting pain, if that makes sense.
The doctor that was diagnosing me after an IV contrast X-ray and CT scan was telling me how he was unsure how I was even walking let alone sitting upright as the pain is often compared to people coming in to the ER with pain on the scale of a 10 passing a kidney stone. I’ve never passed one, but for me I just compared it to feeling like a pulled muscle.
But OP still has a point, though … even if one’s tolerance is high, if they were to say a 10 then it still has to be really severe for them to equate it to that number. For some, pain is easier to manage and bear with, while some go to ERs over gas building up in the stomach and believe it’s a full on 9.
I would RUN if I came into a hospital and saw all the nurses breakdancing.

@@e_i_e_i_bro the pain scale is an objectively flawed and impossible concept. If someone says they're in "20/10" pain, they are in the worst pain of their life. It is, to them, the worst pain they have ever felt. Is it the worst pain ever felt by anyone ever? Probably not, pain is wildly subjective, as are pain tolerances. As someone who is in at least 8/10 pain at all times, I likely would have less of a reaction to severe accute pain than someone who isn't.
Pain is incredibly subjective, and whether or not you can eat will be entirely dependent on the person, their own personal way of dealing with pain.
I personally can't see when I'm in really bad pain, but I don't throw up. Eating helps.
Someone else might feel nauseous and be unable to eat.
You cannot judge someone's level of pain based on their actions, and doing so actively dismisses people with chronic illnesses, and actively denies people help.

I used to work in a hospital, not as a nurse but as a nutrition assistant. I delivered trays to patients. You get a very protective feeling over the patients you visit more than once; I often went home wondering how they were doing and whether I'd see them tomorrow. I always thought about how they're probably someone's family, and if they were my family, I'd want them to be treated well and made to feel as comfortable and safe as possible. I cannot fathom even thinking like this, let alone making videos about it. I know empathy fatigue is a thing but something tells me this girl never had any empathy to fatigue.
