Desalter is using in oil and gas industry for separating Salt and other minerals from crude oil.
crude oil separated Gas and water in first stage separators mixed with fresh water and treated in an electrostatic separation process to remove salt and other minerals.

Hi sir , i work in the plant having desalter. I have doubt , electric current passes all over the inside vessel, but I can't feel the current shock while I touch the vessel. Why?
