The stripe eyeshadow hack works BUT you have to use the same colour family and you have to go from dark on the outer to lighter/shimmer on the inner. It's 7 out of 10 for me personally.

I was thinking the same thing cause I used the Glamlite Red Velvet Palette and it worked for me
It's not exactly a "hack". It's a method for applying eye shadow fora particular look. That look was way more popular 20 years ago & this "hack" was common instructions on eyeshadow pallets that would include a map & instructions for 2-5 looks that could be created with the pallet
Hey, I just wanted to tell you that I just found out the only makeup I have has your name on it. It's an OFRA x NikkieTutorials highligher glazed donut. I'm extremely poor and I can't afford any gender affirming treatments, so I've just been giving myself a girly glow for the past year or so. Knowing that you're the one responsible for me feeling pretty just makes it that much better. Thank you so much.

Amazing! Some tips:
- mascara but not lashes- lashes make you look like a drag queen when you’re not
- whatever lipstick goes well with your skin tone
- moisturizer.
- If you can afford it, amla oil and keratin treatments = shiny hair for days.
(I’m sure you know these but just in case you don’t.)
- nail polish that is clear/glittery/whatever your favorite color is
- barrettes
-style your hair with bobby pins and curlers if you can
- cheap jewelry can still make you feel like a million bucks (it does for me.)
Oh, and I have makeup brands for days on my lists if you want any ideas.

I’m pretty sure that’s just the lighting. Her hair looks exactly the same as it always has, it just has pink and purple light bouncing off of it. You can tell it’s the lights because even her makeup has a slight pink and purple highlight to it.

I do not understand trends like this, they're funny if anything. It was so scary watching the bronzer thing, it could ruin your makeup. The viral stamp brows have been around since teleshopping days! Haha! Spoons have been around since Michelle Phan too. How this is considered new is bewildering.

A trend doesn’t necessarily mean it’s new, but it’s just more widespread and use more commonly. Regardless, videos saying these “hacks” or “trends” can help beginners find new techniques that work for them if they didn’t hear of these prior!

Yeah I hate the hacks that ruin your makeup products . Like the one where you dip your mascara wand in loose powder and put it back in the tube
I appreciate that you use and recommend affordable drug store products like Catrice and Maybelline.

The maybelline 30Hrs super stay foundation…actually works for 30Hrs! The curse of being a nocturnal queen! But it does actually stay on for 30Hrs and is great for Masks as it doesn’t transfer…well for me anyway 😂

That's my question. I have made the mistake by wetting an eyeshadow color instead of my brush when filling in my brows and it made the eyeshadow color breakup and fall apart.
Once time I accidentally got some water in a compact powder foundation and it was never the same. I’ve assumed same thing would happen with a bronzer esp if you soak it

I am such a makeup newbie that I have yet to do a cut crease I am proud of, and when I saw the spoon hack, it made a LOT of sense. I am very anxious to try it!!!!
I have hooded eyes so makeup always disappears when I open them but I found a trick that works! Start by putting a line of concealer as close to your lashes as you can. Next, look up with just your eyes and when you do this, that line will transfer to your upper lid. That gives you a guide line on what to fill in. Hopefully that made sense lol.
Yay!!! So much success!!! I’ve been doing the setting spray one since I started using makeup, because I my first setting spray went in sort of splotchy so I used my sponge to pat it in but then I started to just spray the sponge first :D

Oh SNAP! Nikkie, I swear I've been using that Catrice foundation for SO long and it's the best! As a beautician, I've had to do work under many temperatures and it always stayed un perfectly! I put that on my face at 7 in the morning and take it off at 10 in the night and it still was perfectly fine!
My absolute favorite trend is the setting spray and sponge I've been doing it for over a year now because I struggle with really dry skin. This really changed the game 🥰🙌

The setting spray/beauty blender hack would literally take off my makeup 😬 Some beauty gurus talked about something similar once, to make the powder blend into your skin better, but I discovered qucikly that it just takes it off

But the real question is... can you still use your bronzer normally when it's dry now?
I think you would have to keep spraying it cuz the formula would get dry and muddy overtime

Ok so love Nikkie, but please don't use that first hack with the bronzer. If you saturate any powder with a setting spray the powder then becomes useless because it creates a seal over it and fuses all the separate powder particles together so it becomes like a brick.
If you use it with srttong spray every time does it works ? Like, put setting spray remove the seal effect or not ? If so you can "sacrifiate" one of your bronzer to use it this way !
@@Lea-tw3wq The first few times it will work, but after using this method over and over again on a powder the seal becomes so strong that not even the setting spray itself can penetrate the product anymore. Trust me, I’ve ruined too many powders doing this. A better method would be to saturate the brush you are using to apply the bronzer with setting spray although even at that it will still render the powder useless after extended use, just at a slower pace. Like Nikkie said in the video, it would be best to just buy a liquid/cream bronzer. Hope this helps! :)

You should really try the “Tik tok trend” when you put powder before your foundation. So you go with moisturizing, powder, primer, setting spray and last foundation. They say it makes the makeup more long lasting and prevent the foundation to crease. Love your videos❤️❤️
