how to take ecg of dogs and cats

hi
in a vet. ecg machine there are 5 clips of difderent colour.
1. red clip for rt. fore leg near elbow
2.yellow clip for left. fore leg
3.black clip for rt. hind leg
4. green clip for left hind leg
5.grey clip near the heart.
for better connection we can use spirit and ecg gell.
for a better ecg dog should be in calm state and all connections sd be proper.
