Hi Everyone. Crayfish was shown from the beginning but it wasn't shown when added in the video. The Crayfish was added but was mistakenly cut out during editing. My apologies. Use crayfish for this recipe because it was used. Eru without Crayfish isn't Eru. Thanks for Understanding.
This is what we call Afang soup in my place although the ingredients are put at different times. We also pound or grind the afang (eru) leaves to make them less chewy and easily passable in the throat 😊 I noticed you didn't add the crayfish that you showed in the beginning as part of the ingredients, why's that so?
Hello ma'am Claudy I am curios if I could find this eru leaf here in Philippines? Whats other names of this leaves? Thank you and always watching your vedios .I'm a Filipina with a 2 kids who's Cameroonian.
I think you should ask around for the african store. I am not sure you will find it in your markets except an African market. Also ask for Afang leaves if you come across any Nigerian
Good day dear. Soup looks delicious. Actually you can cook only waterleaf. You use no water or add a little tomatoes to the pepper and pound or blend so you have a thick paste fry in oil add other ingredients , then waterleaf. Also to reduce water from waterleaf we can leave for say 2 to 3 days b4 using. It would have lost some water and is still fresh. Waterleaf soup is the sweetest veg soup. I'm from Nigeria, Edo state
The problem is my waterless never stops producing more and more water. I need to keep draining and draining. What do I do?. & your recipe looks delicious 😋
Very good. I usually have a pb. Sometimes i feel the eru is still a little strong at the end and the red oil seems very raw again. Like in the throat after eating a quantity, starts doing somehow in the throat😂. Can you please explain why?
I think it wasn't cooked well Put enough water leaves to avoid hardness, then when all ingredients enters the pot, including oil, let it cook for like 15 mins. While it cooking, keep stirring so it thickens and trust me you'll enjoy it.
It was great cooking but I have a problem with the reporter for being sketchy, we never saw when crayfish came in, nor do we know if eru is prepared with salt or not. Then was one ground powered that you gave a scientific name 🤷♂️. So please next time pay attention to what mom does 😉

Hello @khearra7369, The scientific name is Gnetum Africanum. It is endemic from Central Africa.
Surinam spinach or Talilong (Talinum fruticosum). My filipina friends say it’s an ornamental plant in the Philipines
Delicious and so easy
Your mom made the best greenish ERU I have ever seen in video
Pls what is this eru leaf. Is it okazi
Fantastic
Thanks
Superb , nice recipe ,looks too much tasty ,liked it 👍 , 👍
Thanks for stopping by
Please Claudy what is the difference bt spinach n water leaf
They are two different plants but they soften up hard leafy greens. You can cook spinach only and eat with fufu but you can't for waterleaf.

Let it dry atleast half before you add the eru
@@CookingWithClaudy thanks for your response, Claudy. I try to let it dry but it keep producing water 😢 even when I put the eru

❤.. I'm from Indian
Good and eatable
Only spinach is available where I live right now.
Please should just replace the waterleaves with spinach and follow same procedure?
Yes please

❤❤❤aroma hittx me here thanks swt momma
You're most welcomed
Hey, I made some and it was chewy how can I fix that ! Hope to hear from you soon thank you 😊
You need more water leaf. Eru is a hard veggie so it needs enough water leaf or spinach to make it soft. Hope this helps
Why did you not press your maggi
Blud u making me hungry and it's late💀
Thanks mommy ...❤️✊❤️
You're most welcomed
Mine is always filled with water help please
Thanks mom 😋😋😋
She is the best
Which Fufu is this?
Water Fufu
It's equally spse to be burnt a bit😅 to mk it more tasteful and sweet
Thanks mami 😋😋😋😋😋
she says thanks ohhh
You did not put crefish
Okay I see
You forgot crefish 😂
Wait please don't we put Maggie nor salt again during the eru mixing process
Because the meat and stock already has it. But you can adjust the taste with maggi and salt if need be.
No cray fish why
Watch the video well, there is crayfish
You have to drain water from water leaf and eru, this is the case some people have running stomach after eating this dish
Watch the video perfectly
Today's menu make I tif answer
Looks delicious but its with a lot of oil
Try and make your video fast and short like others.
No one stopped you from going to the others. And you aren't welcomed here! Bye
