The reason I watch this video because of Peet's Mom. I didnt see her Physical, what I see in Peet's Mom, an inspiration, she raise her children well in positive attitude and having her children love each other in the family. Also, Peet's mom didnt show any struggle she is always smiling, funny, loving and positive.
I will tell you why you got 20M subs: not only are you funny, but the love that you and your family have, and show, comes through. I think it’s what we all appreciate and love to see. The comedy is great. Your mom is great. And right in the midst of all that comedy, you throw in some heartfelt reality that just about anyone can relate to, even if we don’t look just like your family. You keep on doing what you love and you’ll keep getting subscribers.
You know why people love you, it’s your kindness, and moral courage to speak out. You’re a sweet guy and your family are some of the nicest and funniest folks I’ve seen. The first videos I ever saw of yours was the sound effecting your mom videos. I loved the relationship between you and your mom. My siblings and I would tease our mom a lot, and we would laugh together. She passed away 14 years ago, and those videos of you and your mom reminded me of the time I had with mine. We are a old-school type of state ESPECIALLY when it comes to the disabled, the elderly, children, anyone in marginalized communities and our veterans. Fcuk with one, all of us will come for you. Speaking as someone from the city: the best comparison is we think in a prison mindset. Don't fcuk with kids, the elderly, etc. I'm shocked to see what was shown thus far! I have been watching you for at least 3 years, since 2021 or 2020 (I can't remember, I just know I lived in Washington then and I've lived in New Mexico now since mid 2021) and I remember your numbers were like maybe 27,000 or 17,000. I agree with everything you said. I just found this channel today and immediately subscribed and I am currently binge watching everything on the channel. I can’t even explain the feeling of happiness and joy and love this whole channel is giving me. My mouth is stuck in a smile. My heart feels so full of joy. The whole family is so beautiful and I want to hug everyone of them. The Mama is so glamorous and I need her to teach me how to do my makeup! I could go on and on! I know this comment section is to comment on the actual video we just watched and there is no doubt that I have nothing but positive, loving, supportive feedback and mad love and respect for the family and I don’t mean to take away from the well deserved attention of the channel but one of my personality traits is that I think it’s so important to point out positive things when I see them because I feel like so many people are very quick to complain or point out negative and I just want to recognize something I just saw. IMHO, I doubt it was easy to write a comment in a public forum to admit that you have participated in potentially make yourself a target for a mean nasty troll to flame you. But the beautiful, brave poster took the risk and owned the behavior. Shared that she was grateful for the knowledge that she didn’t have at the time. Attitudes and behaviors were different when she was growing up and learning behaviors and that isn’t her fault. She behaved the best way she knew how until she knew differently. And then when she did start to learn better, she was open to change. I started watching because I was warmed by the videos. I saw a warm loving family, which is how I was raised and I raised my children. No we did not have anything special about us, but like your family, it was love and just life. I started watching because it was you and your mom, I loved the relationship and bonus! He was Native American and very dark skinned and black hair and dark brown eyes and my genes are my mom’s coloring. It was frustrating growing up because people always commented and didn’t think I was his child lol. I started to watch when you walked around your mom’s home making sounds with your trombone. But the video’s with you doing jokes on your bother to. i feel you man. i grew up really poor in section 8 housing, food stamps, wellfare, etc. eventually we finally had a home during a good time, but then it went into foreclosure cause my mom went into a bad place and she had to choose between paying the electric bill or pay the mortgage. as an adult i'm not in that bad of a situation anymore, but i feel like i will never catch up in life from where i started from. it's very difficult. i applaud you and your success! it's wonderful to see you succeed and it's inspiring.
House prices globally over the last 20 years (but especially since Covid) have made a lot of the traditional social mobility routes virtually impossible. The fact that you started out in life in Section 8 and needing to access welfare, but have now made it to a better place now, speaks **volumes** about who you are and how hard you have worked. You ARE catching up in life, despite all the odds being stacked against you, and I really hope that makes you proud of yourself and your achievements - because it should. You deserve to feel pride in yourself. That urge to constantly strive and do better is what will keep you succeeding and moving forward, but never feel like you aren't enough, because you're doing a great job 👍 Wishing you good health, success, and (above all) happiness 💖 x

You lit a fire under so many with what happened to your sister, we worried for your mom when she went into the hospital and we love watching you all when you get together. Thank you. My child is delayed and we used to get so many looks and still do. I just look at them and ask if there is something can help them with. I volunteer at a local Foodbank! I have done for an over a year now and it’s the best decision I ever damn made!! I started going as a way to bulk out my CV, but It quickly became not about that. It became about helping people and being part of a team. I’ve come to understand just how much of a difference I’m helping to make, partly because of how much of a difference the Foodbank has made on a personal level. For the past few months, my mental health has been poor and regularly volunteering there gave me a space to forget it all, just for 2 hours, and the feeling is wondrous. I genuinely dread to think where I would be without it. In a strange way, it’s become a very special place to me and , although all the other volunteers are more than three-times my age, the volunteers are amazing people and true friends
@@robinmonroe1276 one story I particularly I remember is me and another volunteer (I usually make the parcels in the storeroom) just dropped a parcel off with a mum and her two sons. The sons start going through the bags and I hear him say “*gasp* Biscuits!!” and it was so sweet!
Feeling needed is an integral part of being human. The fact that you are feeling your spirit being lifted by helping others speaks to your character, your empathy, and your decency. Thank you for the service you are giving to your community - I've no doubt that you make many people very grateful. Whilst it's by no means a treatment for mental health issues, feeling needed and participating in your community is such a great way to boost your self esteem and remind yourself that you are valued, worthy, and important - and they are all important factors in a successful treatment plan. It is human to feel, and human to want those connections, but those with high emotional intelligence get far more out of the experience than others. You sound like one of those people, because you thoroughly enjoy being of service to others. You also mentioned volunteering initially to give your CV a boost. So, if you're looking for a new/better job, have you considered a career in health and/or social care? I ask because you sound like you would be incredible (and I say that as a doc in the ER). We desperately need people with your ethos and outlook, treating people at their most vulnerable moments with care and compassion - something you have clearly experienced at the food bank. It's an area with clear progression pathways (many of our RNs, for example, started as assistants/techs/HCAs, and then joined one of the assisted degree programmes, as there are global shortages of registered nurses). We are a old-school type of state ESPECIALLY when it comes to the disabled, the elderly, children, anyone in marginalized communities and our veterans. Fcuk with one, all of us will come for you. Speaking as someone from the city: the best comparison is we think in a prison mindset. Don't fcuk with kids, the elderly, etc. I'm shocked to see what was shown thus far! I can't wait to see the documentary ❤❤❤

I agree with everything you said. I just found this channel today and immediately subscribed and I am currently binge watching everything on the channel. I can’t even explain the feeling of happiness and joy and love this whole channel is giving me. My mouth is stuck in a smile. My heart feels so full of joy. The whole family is so beautiful and I want to hug everyone of them. The Mama is so glamorous and I need her to teach me how to do my makeup! I could go on and on! I know this comment section is to comment on the actual video we just watched and there is no doubt that I have nothing but positive, loving, supportive feedback and mad love and respect for the family and I don’t mean to take away from the well deserved attention of the channel but one of my personality traits is that I think it’s so important to point out positive things when I see them because I feel like so many people are very quick to complain or point out negative and I just want to recognize something I just saw. IMHO, I doubt it was easy to write a comment in a public forum to admit that you have participated in potentially make yourself a target for a mean nasty troll to flame you. But the beautiful, brave poster took the risk and owned the behavior. Shared that she was grateful for the knowledge that she didn’t have at the time. Attitudes and behaviors were different when she was growing up and learning behaviors and that isn’t her fault. She behaved the best way she knew how until she knew differently. And then when she did start to learn better, she was open to change. But then most importantly, she knew the critical piece was to start the new generation (as well as their caregivers) to start this off right in the formative developmental stages of our next generation!!! And obviously I don’t want to speak for anyone. But maybe, just maybe..by you sharing how his book helped you change a behavior, then that may remind him and his family AGAIN (because in my opinion, you can never hear “Good job” enough) and that their work is useful, valuable, appreciated. And personally, for me, today, what your post did for me, was special. It’s hard to be vulnerable and admit flaws or mistakes. But the important thing is learning and growing. He was Native American and very dark skinned and black hair and dark brown eyes and my genes are my mom’s coloring. I started to watch when you walked around your mom’s home making sounds with your trombone. But the video’s with you doing jokes on your bother to. i feel you man. i grew up really poor in section 8 housing, food stamps, wellfare, etc. eventually we finally had a home during a good time, but then it went into foreclosure cause my mom went into a bad place and she had to choose between paying the electric bill or pay the mortgage. as an adult i'm not in that bad of a situation anymore, but i feel like i will never catch up in life from where i started from. it's very difficult. i applaud you and your success! it's wonderful to see you succeed and it's inspiring.
House prices globally over the last 20 years (but especially since Covid) have made a lot of the traditional social mobility routes virtually impossible. The fact that you started out in life in Section 8 and needing to access welfare, but have now made it to a better place now, speaks **volumes** about who you are and how hard you have worked.
You ARE catching up in life, despite all the odds being stacked against you, and I really hope that makes you proud of yourself and your achievements - because it should. You deserve to feel pride in yourself. That urge to constantly strive and do better is what will keep you succeeding and moving forward, but never feel like you aren't enough, because you're doing a great job 👍

I volunteer at a local Foodbank! I have done for an over a year now and it’s the best decision I ever damn made!!
I started going as a way to bulk out my CV, but It quickly became not about that. It became about helping people and being part of a team. I’ve come to understand just how much of a difference I’m helping to make, partly because of how much of a difference the Foodbank has made on a personal level. For the past few months, my mental health has been poor and regularly volunteering there gave me a space to forget it all, just for 2 hours, and the feeling is wondrous. I genuinely dread to think where I would be without it.
In a strange way, it’s become a very special place to me and , although all the other volunteers are more than three-times my age, the volunteers are amazing people and true friends

Feeling needed is an integral part of being human. The fact that you are feeling your spirit being lifted by helping others speaks to your character, your empathy, and your decency. Thank you for the service you are giving to your community - I've no doubt that you make many people very grateful.
Whilst it's by no means a treatment for mental health issues, feeling needed and participating in your community is such a great way to boost your self esteem and remind yourself that you are valued, worthy, and important - and they are all important factors in a successful treatment plan. It is human to feel, and human to want those connections, but those with high emotional intelligence get far more out of the experience than others. You sound like one of those people, because you thoroughly enjoy being of service to others. You also mentioned volunteering initially to give your CV a boost. So, if you're looking for a new/better job, have you considered a career in health and/or social care? I ask because you sound like you would be incredible (and I say that as a doc in the ER). We desperately need people with your ethos and outlook, treating people at their most vulnerable moments with care and compassion - something you have clearly experienced at the food bank. It's an area with clear progression pathways (many of our RNs, for example, started as assistants/techs/HCAs, and then joined one of the assisted degree programmes, as there are global shortages of registered nurses).
Might be something to think about?
