Turns out, all some people need is for someone to actually listen to them, and treat them as a human. A hero isn’t measured just by their strength, but by their heart.
Super Underrated Comment
Who would have thought?
So many manga fans cried that this season material is trash. They might have limited emotional intelligence in the community not counting those that just genuinely hate it. Like someone made a good point. Most of the jjk and my hero etc hate is from those misunderstanding powers or not getting emotional scenes. Sure they aren’t perfect but if they were 0/10 trash like they all said then anime onlies would have hated it to mostly. It feels like aot where people cry it’s trash and anime online enjoyed.
Nana Shimura knew it
"A true hero saves not only their lives, but also their hearts... That's what I believe."
🤓
The Todoroki family story is so relatable to many ppl… just a beautiful episode
Todoroki family's arc is one the best part about MHA
Gonna give props to Mineta. He went from crying at the sight of villains, to being willing to confront AFO and try to save Dark Shadow, even knowing he really wouldn't be able to do much.
Ochako was the only character who had the empathy to talk Toga down. 99% of us are not built that way
Yes so difficult to even approach some who actually drink blood and hurt people. She was the hero to Toga.
Yeah, I respect her for that, most just would be afraid or disgusted
YOU . Not built that way .
For her , being a hero means bringing smile to everyone . When she saw Toga is not able to smile in this world , then she decided to save her . Being a hero have different meaning to everyone . For Deku , it is to save them to protect them from the danger . For Bakugo , it is to defeat the enemy to protect them . For Ururaka , it is to make them smile
Deku probably would’ve tried but Uraraka definitely was more effective
Uraraka actually awakened her Quirk. That's why everybody was floating. She can now create a field in which everybody floats... Which is insanely OP. Both EPs 19 & 20 were so emtonioal.
Need to see dragon ball sparking and fan battles
No she cannot. She can't make a field that makes people float. Her float now spreads to anyone touching. The same as Shigaraki's decay awakening.
@@mentholnewport she can also touch the ground and everyone standing on it will float too, so it's kinda the same thing
@@PainKiller1.6180 No she can't. You can't just make up abilities. When she makes something float, anything touching it will begin to float as well. Ochako still has a weight limit. Touching the ground would be her trying to make the earth float which doesn't work.
@@mentholnewportIt really depends on what we're talking about, if for example everyone's standing on a ship and she makes it float, then everyone and everything in contact with the ship will float too, the same goes to any other material that isn't necessarily clutched to the ground, or if the ground isn't 100% fix.
Also what I got from her quirk awakening is that when she extends her hand some types of bubbles and lightning bolts start coming out and whatever comes in contact with them will also get affected by her quirk, and so on and so forth..
She's one of the most powerful characters in the MHA universe rn
Shoto really got his "I am here moment" it's like he became what he wanted to become ever since he was a child
MHA S7 has been the best anime season for me in recent years... so so good
Honestly if not for Attack on Titan season 4 I'd agree, we've been spoiled lately
Only second to AOT for me and maybe Vinland Saga S2
Entertainment wise yes.
Critically theres been no stakes so far.
The furthest one as of anime only is hawks getting his quirk taken
@@biscuitman5388 would you mind explaining how there are no stakes? Tbh, I don’t see how the stakes could get much higher. AFO has rewind now, shigaraki has all his quirks back, most of the heroes are gone, and the strongest hero in the show besides deku can no longer fight. Stakes don’t just mean something was taken or somebody died. It means that you are ina situation where you have a lot to lose, and at this point it’s almost as bad as it can possibly be.
@@coranonthecob1613 Sure but with the magnitude of all you described and i still am 1000% percent sure that at the very least the characters who should obviously die at this point being all might after his fight and edge shot in place of Bakugou somehow won’t. So I guess lemme clarify and say the “Stake results” cause the stakes can be high anything but if the result are showing nothing so far on the hero’s side and all this overpowered landslide that the villains have yet nothing much is coming out of it then critically it will be mid when theirs no real weight to the stakes.
Have yet to see but honestly AFO and Shigaraki should wipe the floor with a lot to come. The legion army with twice alone should’ve been enough to do a lot even before toga was talked out on her timer but they’re just pushing groups like com’on.
You'll never find a greater family saga better than the Todoroki's!!! You can't recreate that anywhere
It wasn't because she touched the main Toga, it was her quick awakening! Like Shigaraki's decay, everything that was connected started floating. That's why some of the clones were still on the ground.
There had never been many anime episodes or movies to make me cry….
but this one did….
I agree with you here toya and his family sotry iş my top voice acting hit me Hard❤
45:44 it's not because Uraraka thouched Toga, it's because she kind of awakened her quirk, making the floating effect spread through all the clones that were touching each other, similiar to what happened to Shigaraki in the villains arc.
You'd think it couldn't be more obvious lol
@@CupOfWhiskeyexactly lmaooo
I heard a spoiler somewhere that Dabi unlocked ice, but I thought it was with Phosphor. I did not expect this at all, when Endeavor says Rei's.. Quirk? I nearly broke into tears, because if he just spent more time with Toya, and gave him more of a chance, he had the quirk deep down within him all along.. Hence his hair color change. That's why Endeavor says it's all his responsibility, I believe this was just poor translation into, It was his fault / carelessness that caused this all in the first place because what he wanted all along was right in front of him since the beginning within Toya.
i wish more people would acknowledge that many of the themes within this series (and especially these past few episodes) are actual real life. society isn't black and white (simply hero or villains). the 'villains' aren't 'evil' just for the sake of being evil; like everyone around you, they're molded by the environment and situation that they were (simply by chance) placed and left in. that environment and situation directly influences how they grow to understand the world around them and the choices they then make.
Hawks really been fighting his heart out since the war started. He’s still fighting even while quirkless, real hero shit
49:50 that's the point of that scene, even with toga's smile that everyone called creepy and inhumane, ochako still thought she was beautiful.
Toya and the whole todoroki family could've live a normal and happy family if endeavor "look" and train toya properly because toya has his mother quirk. Endeavor true intention from the start was only has a child that has fire and ice power
Toga is the prime example of being a victim of her quirk. She literally can’t help her obsession with blood and because that wasn’t acceptable and considered weird in society, she was told she was wrong and a monster. Meanwhile she could have been an amazing spy for the heroes if she was embraced by heroes
That title is wild lmao
That boy went from hawks to walks
Actually has me laughing rn
That’s foul 😭😭😭
@@RaWasabi Fowl
Thats diabolical😂
You stole this comment
This season is just on another level...the tears just keep flowing episode after episode and the way the character arcs is finishing is just top level
Yep they came back from japan just to cry ❤
Dabi … Toya shatters me so bad🥺😭💔💔 rei’s face when she saw him abt to die twice 😖☹️ she RAN😭😭
Emotional episode 1-2punch.
It shows how crucial the role of the parents molding their children and how they become in the future.
If you hadn't noticed, the characters that are watching the Deku vs. Shigaraki livestream were from the movies:
Melissa, All Might's niece, from Two Heroes
Mahoro and Katsuma, from heroes rising, the villain named Nine wanted Katsuma's quirk called cell activation
Rody's siblings, Roro and Lala from World Heroes Mission
And Giulio and Anna from the new movie, You're Next, haven't seen the movie yet, so I don't know the context with them.
@@ray-boi1351 I think there was from vigilantes as well
@Alterego-ne7oi who? I didn't read vigilantes, so who do you mean?
@@ray-boi1351 between katsuma and rody's siblings
@@Alterego-ne7oi who are they? Both real and hero names
Yeah, this is the hardest I’ve cried in a while honestly. For the family, Shoto was called the “hero of the family,” and after this, yeah, he absolutely is. Not that he wasn’t before. And honestly, for as horrific of a person as Touya has become, I think it’s only right for him to be saved by the family and make sure he doesn’t game end himself. It was great timing too since Endeavor had just given up on Touya again. The emotions were complicated as heck this time around, but I’m hoping that Touya can finally find some level of peace.
And then there’s Uraraka and Toga, who honestly made me cry harder. Wasn’t expecting that 😅
Me too my friend l fell şad for toya and his family sotry have nice day❤
honestly one of my worst ugly cries of my life, the family episode just about killed me.
31:49 'Did the whole family perish?'
Damn, that actually gave me chills.
If they manage to perfectly adapt and pop off in the finale then this will definitely be the best season of MHA
I love how this episode shows implications that the movies were all canon because of all the kids watching the news which is kind of a huge deal
Missed you guys, you're one of the few reactors that I follow that stayed together and even have a family together.
One thing to remember about AFO, he's around 200+ years old, so it'll take a lot to bring him down.
120+
He's around the same age as the Doctor who Present Mic says is over 120
Her smile wasn't just cute, it was the cutest
Uraraka awakened her individuality so everyone was floating, now she doesn't need to touch people or objects for them to float, this is a very strong power !
Uraraka's words to Toga were very profound, those words weren't empty words, they were the words of a girl who had become a real heroine, it's always good to make comparisons with real life because that way it's easier to understand the message that the author wants to convey !
“Okaerinasai, you two!” (Okaerinasai = “Welcome Home” in Japanese). Glad you made it back safe and had a great time in Japan!
Watching these three episodes with you back-to-back hits DIFFERENT! Nonstop emotion and stress!
The main season is only 21 episodes this time around. The four “Memories” remixed-recap episodes that came before make up the missing four episodes to (contractually) complete the 25 episodes for this season. So episode 21 is the last episode for the season.
I’m begging Bones - Please don’t do a “Demon Slayer” and make the last part of the war into several movies!
*Endeavor apologizing for his sins tells us he is a changed man one of the the best family arc of MHA*
45:45 No , thats because Ururaka's quirk awakened like the villain's in season 5 , and Bakugo and Dabi in this season
Her quirk is now like Shigiraki's . her quirk affects to everything that is touched to what she is touching ,
Ps she didn’t touch toga to make them float her quirk just awakened
No one will ever admit it but I truly believe Endeavor is the best character in the show.
Most realistic
For me, he definitely is.
Uraraka awakened her quirk and could make float everything that was touching each other. You can see Jiro is floating too plus other Dabi clones on the ground not floating. Just everything that was touching kinda like Shigaraki's quirk.
The voice of the younger All for One is he same voice of Trafalgar Law from One Piece.
Voice Acting this episode was PEAKKKKK
*Uraraka finally reached out to Toga, and Toya has been saved! While Uraraka, Toga, and Iida all showed off incredible feats of strength, their true heroism is on full display here. Iida wanted to help his friend, Todoroki wanted to help his family, and Uraraka wanted to help someone in need…*
A couple that cries together, stays together
25:20 “flight or fight response-“ and Toyas ALWAYS fought 🫢😭💔
Guys try to watch the ending song it was dedicated for the character on that episode it is every touching because they bacame super young understanding each other.
The final episode is about to be amazing
I’m so sad you thought her smile at the end was kinda creepy, it was beautiful
The todoroki family has been the best of the season
he literally said I AM HERE!
45:50 it wasn’t that she touched the main one, her quirk awakened
These episodes wrecked my nerves even though I knew how it would go.
Young all for one Voice Actor is Kamiya aka Levi's VA
I was waiting for ya to come back from Japan to react to episode 19!! I knew ya would get emotional.
Love the Minnesota Sweatshirt Mel. Great shout out to us Minnesotans
It's nice how they showed the movie characters
Dabi, toga, shigaraki, stain, twice my top 5 bein rejected by society and the system all together for good amount of time to change ones pov as if it’s their own awakening to the world they see and want to defy against and only few understands cuz society is corrupted and most ppl is bad which makes it close to impossible to tell if there’s anyone that gives you that feeling to not want to harm them based on how human they are also toga’s smile probably stayed way it been cuz that smile is hiding intense agony within which her own parents was clueless to see probably I’ve read online on some stuff it’s kinda same with ppl irl their facial expression stays certain way based on what, how many, how long they have bottled up in them
Next episode is actually the last of the season. This season only has 21 episodes.
Damn Mel still calling Her creepy. Rough day for Toga 😅
Just a little fun fact but all for ones younger self is being voiced by levi's actor just letting yk😁
Ashido straight up just killed sludge man 🗿6:50
I cant stop to mention it under every reaction because its so damn important to me in a sense: my hero does a GODLIKE job to show us parallels to the reallife we are in. What happens when your "different" in a sense of what you love or who or what you wear and so on. That our society also tends to cast out ppl instead of AT LEAST understand the motiv behind a character / person. I will believe on that this is the reason it connects us emotionally SO MUCH to how they deliver the episodes so far. And its so tragic but somehow funny too that it only takes on person that at least TRYS to understand to change a persons perspective / life entirely.
In "Schindlers List" at the end the movie qoutes something from the talmud that i got reminded in the last episode because it fits somehow so well: Whoever saves one life saves the world entire.
Why? Because the description fits: "The wisdom of the phrase, paraphrased from the Talmud, speaks to the energy and strength required to save even one life in the face of unparalleled death and destruction, and the power of the moral courage required to do so."
Uraraka and Shoto became great heroes !
Next episode is actually the finale. We'll find out on Saturday whether we'll get a final season or a movie to finish the series.
Final season as I am pretty sure this next episode will end on chapter 398. Meaning we still have like 32 chapters to adapt, that should be enough for a 12 episode finale
This whole season is the best season I’ve watched for mha! Absolutely masterpiece 😂
Think I've cried to every one of these episodes, esp. w/Himiko.. jesus
I miss your reactions Welcome back ❤
Take it from someone who never cared about Toga or Uraraka, that was one of the best episodes in the entire Series. Horikoshi was in his bag when he wrote those chapters🐐🐐🐐
so the reason why the acid thing stop moving is because shiro told him to stop and he answered back at him and fell into his ability.
Ep 19&20 in one road emotional rip
All for one only wants to get to shigaraki to help back him up against deku. It s a waiting game right now for him. He just has to kill deku and then hes good it doesn't matter if his original body rewinds to nothing because he still has the version of "him" in shiggy. He doesn't have faith in shiggy because the amount of stress on shiggys mental right now is causing him to literally tweak and is messing up the completion process.
LETS GO!!! W start to my day seeing a new Belz reaction
Young AFO's voice is Levi's. And he's attacked by female, beast, and armored titans😆
The Demon lord FAO cold with it here l love it have nice day❤
Welcome back you two. =D
thank you for not forgetting my hero academia ❤❤
BOY have we been waiting on this 🙏🏾
Btw old AFO is blackbeard and younger AFO is law both from one piece.
Welcome home Guys! hope you two had a blast! last season of MHA has been 10/10 .
Manga fans said it fell off post war arc. They never like anything if this is considered trash writing. 😂
Can't believe you didn't notice *Levi's voice* first hand 😆
Was sad to see my goat hawks meet that faith😢
big upload lets goooo😭🔥
I always felt like Rei failed as a parent as well. "A mother's courage knows no bound, for she will do anything to protect her children".
53mn?😱😭 awww! Epic episode! The best for me thus far! the build up was real! ep 20!
Y'all there's only one episode left😭😭
I missed you guys! Hope you had a fantastic time in Japan!
Y’all finna make toga evil again 😂
Uraraka awakening was crazy, imagine she become villain, it will be rain of flesh or just make you float to space
Defination of Peak!!
I'm waiting for you're reaction ! You 2 are the best, i loooooove u're reacts :) A viewer from France ! ♥ [And as u tell us in another react : "don't let people tell mha is not a good anime"]
Horikoshi had geten himura talking during the quirk awakening moment
There's sadly only one episode left.. S7 has only 21 Episodes
I get Episode 19, but people should have “Highly” recommended Episode 20 as well. My personal Favorite in the Season.
Very well done showing other very memorable ways you can be a “Hero” besides throwing Hands or Named Attacks around everywhere.
Not saying Action is bad but Action for a large majority is focused on while everything else is ignored, misunderstood and/or quickly forgotten, people miss so much by doing that.
Btw it's not because uraraka touched the main toga that all of em started floating. This was a quirk awakening, she awakened her quirk
The younger all for one is same voice actor as Levi:) 😊
like paragus said in dbs super broly the todorokis blood line should have ended
15:07 That's Law and Levi's Voice Actor
i need to see yall catch up onto Wistoria!
same. I was hoping they would do it first since I think it's the show that came out the furthest back.....but guess not ugh
Praying for yall cause the hurricane❤
52:03 nah bro next episode is the last one
I always was able to like this storyline a bit, but I think this fight is what made me go back and actually reread through all of it to really understand it and it’s just so well done. From the Beginning, Uraraka had a love for Deku that made her want to be like him and emulate him, but because she felt like being a hero would conflict with her feelings, she concealed them and put on a mask, the same way Toga did her whole life. It’s why from the beginning Toga was able to understand and see through Uraraka and considered her “the sad one”, because unlike Uraraka, Toga was now living in her truth of who she was, someone who could openly love anyone and express it after years of repression.
When the reporter from My Villian Academia shows up in togas thoughts, it reminds her of the fact that the common world sees Toga as just a help case/tragic story, and pities her way of life. But to Toga, she’s just living normally, she’s not faking.
It’s why she couldn’t be twice completely, or the others. She didn’t want to murder people, she just wanted to be with the people who’d be able to make a world she could live in as herself. By Uraraka admitting her whole life story to her, and admiring how toga is able to do the one thing she can’t, express her feelings to the one she loves, she reaches Toga. Just by being someone with empathy.
It makes sense because from the beginning, Uraraka’s feelings on life and people haven’t necessarily changed, but have just been reformed because of her experiences. Her wanting to see people happy stemmed from her parents. Her wanting to save the heroes comes from how she saw Deku giving his all even when broken. I even like how she admits that seeing someone bloodied and still doing their best is the coolest thing to her, because that’s what she’s always seen with both her parents and Deku.
Hori just does a good job at tying things together and rewarding viewers for being invested.
