Dude this album, the Sekret Machines EP, and his Too the Stars, Demos, and Odds and Ends.... are better, song for song, than anyhing Blink-182 has put out without Tom. And I love Matt Skiba and Mark and Travis and love all the music they've made. That being said, it seems Tom has grown the most as a songwriter over the past 10 years where as Mark needed to bring in as much outside writers and at leas thalf of the songs suck lyrically.

Ironically, songs you are indifferent to in the beginning, are the ones you get into and have MASSIVE staying power. For years. Almost every listen you hear something new.
Yet the songs you instantly like, are often, the forgettable ones that don't have any lasting power and fade quickly.

I love how 80s this is..... Quite literally the best band I've ever known. Love AVA, they've been the soundtrack of my life. This band have affected me more than any other. I grew up listening to Gnr, motley, nirvana, sound garden. This band beats anything I've ever listened to..... I love it

Been a hardcore fan of this band since day 1. Favorite band of all time and I can honestly say, I think this album is the most diverse piece of art they have produced. Every song is so different. They are pushing the boundaries of what they can be artistically while keeping the same structure and message I fell in love with. This album is going to be fantastic. Unlike most hardcore fans I love seeing Tom take steps outside of what he's comfortable with. It's going to make for some amazing music. There's only been one song out of this album I haven't cared for too much. The rest have been a beautiful journey.
Always gonna miss Tom being in Blink 182 still but if he never left we would never get all this amazing music. AVA sure has taken us on many adventures and I can’t wait for the rest of the album.

@@ry_man he did both bands at once for 7 years following the reunion of blink-182 in 2009 to when he left in 2015
I think if Tom ever does come back to blink-182 it wouldn’t make much difference because they’ve still got Matt in the band but it would be interesting if blink-182 ever became a quartet that would probably never happened if Tom did come back it might lol but I don’t see him coming back any time soon if ever

It is not industrial..... it's influenced heavily by synthpop bands from the 80s,90s.

Great progression for a band that exists for so long now. While some repeat themselves over and over or lose their identity AVA simply grow their character.

This is the first song off the album I haven’t loved 100%. It’s still good. But not one I’d come back to constantly like Losing my Mind or Timebomb. But this still is a contestant for AOTY for me. It’s an amazing record so far.
