Ok so I’ve been a AVA fan since the legit beginning and have met most of them and bought everything and holy shit I just discovered you and have cried so many times over the last few days listening to all of you stuff especially the love ones Wow I’m legit speechless and I can’t tell you how much this means to me!! These are the renditions I would have done!! Fucking brilliant job!!!
Deffo needed this. Since the start of covid i have had chemo, so still isolating. Thinking back to the times ive seen these guys perform in london, knowing I’ll probably never be able to again… got lost in these songs. Needed that so bad
Wow just saw this comment 3 months after you posted it! I came back to listen to this album because life is back to being a bit crap again. New lesion on my brain, went to see a top neurologist in london who was going to be in charge of my stem cell transplant. That was my last hope, and then he says to me ‘covid is a matter of opinion’ and that hes never worn a mask on the tube. Bare in mind i would have to have strong chemo to kill my entire immune system before the transplant, yet when i asked him if he would wear a mask when treating me with chemo he said ‘you can wear one’. Atrocious! Anyway thank you for your comment, it lifted me up today when i needed it. Best wishes xx
I've now watched this hundreds of times over the last few years and always come back to it from time to time. I absolutely love AVA and this is such a well done re-imagining. I just saw them last week in Denver for the third time (first was in 2010) and wish every show ended with that statement: "tonight shall be remembered not by one, but by thousands of these relationships. As you leave here tonight, close your eyes and travel back to here, to now, and always remember that this was one moment that you were not alone and you felt something that thousands of others have felt and it was....love."
So good man. You're love and passion for the band is quite evident as well as maintaining the AVA aesthetic. Thanks for this gift of a re-worked album.
Such a great take on AVA's work. I think that's ultimately what the band wanted, to inspire other people art and passion and encourage them to experiment with it. Good job man, good job.

That love interlude is the best, I heard it way back in 2011 on the first love tour in Denver at the Fillmore... fuckin always loved hearing it being used and in the movie
the passion. the fire to live, the impetus to do something, can't explain the emotion, just pure feelings everytime i listen to this. Tom and Ava just get the pinch done.

I got alot to say about this , first off .... amazing job with the mixing and production on this . It was mixed and mastered just perfectly , the effects from the movies clips down to the music . Jesus Christ great job . This remembers me alot like a "zstomohing the phantom brake pedal " meets the newer electronic feel with the ava mixes . This can deffenrtly pass as a actual ava release . I hope to hear more of your work , would be cool if you can do chasing shadows with some view from below , kiss with a spell , tremors , the infinite and so on with the newer stuff from ava .
