Hi, do you know if the wifi can be turned off/deactivated? I just want to record vid to the sd card while mounted on an rc plane while not emiting a wifi signal?
So you have to buy the model with the battery. The camera with WiFi can only be controlled with the app. It is impossible to turn off the WiFi, nor to record without WiFi.
@@Meisech ok thanks. I do have the battery model and SD card but am concerned that the wifi signal could interfer with the 2.4 signal between spektrum transmitter and receiver in the plane
@@ChrisDaish-xw8xy I don't even know if the WiFi camera can still record if it doesn't have a permanent connection to the smartphone which may be the case if you use it with an RC plane.
Connecting to the local network depends on 2 factors: 1) The initial password set during the first connection 2) The name of the local network as well as its relative password. If you know the name of your neighbor's local WiFi as well as the password referring to it, then he could detect that new device has connected to his network. He will also be able to view the video if he is in possession of the app.
No, it is only possible to connect the camera with the intended app. The camera is not ONVIF capable and does not have an RSTP protocol. Only an AP connection via the UID is possible.
If this is the correct camera as shown in the video, it should have a reset button and a power button. If not, you may have the original camera. If it is indeed a WiFi camera, the reset should be able to be done from the app.
You can start recording remotely, but the camera must be manually turned on beforehand otherwise you don't have a connection to perform this task. Makes sense, right?

It's 1080p, and I was connected via the JXLCAM App, but as it was stopped for a long time and I think there was a change in my home's WiFi, it was no longer connecting. But I deleted it from the app to reconnect, but I can't reset it, it only has a blue LED. And I can't find its manual. I thought I might have to reset it using some text command on the SD card, like you use text to set the date and time. It's the same as yours without WiFi, it only has the two buttons, but mine has WiFi. I just can't reset it to reinstall it on the cell phone app.
@@raulg.hummel752 You are lucky to have a 1080p mini WiFi camera and I am lucky to have a reset button. Neither you nor I are really served at the moment. I don't think there is a command as a text file that can cause the camera to reset. In any case, I have not seen such a reset command on other cameras. Unfortunately, in most cases it is only possible to initiate a reset via the app. Unfortunately, since you have no connection to the camera, you cannot perform a reset. A vicious circle. The only thing you can try is to find the associated AP connection in your network settings on your smartphone and delete it. But here too the chances are very slim.
What's with the annoying alarm sound dude
