    Is it possible to mask shapes (that do not have corresponding frames) in canva. Say I wanted to make a Twitter icon... but rather than have a solid color logo on a patterned tile, I want to have a solid color tile, with a pattern end the logo. Is this possible in Canva or so I have create the icons in I illustration or photoshop?

      Great question! Canva does have some shapes that you can mask but it’s pretty limited when it comes to masking abilities - I don’t think there are any icons you can mask so your best bet is probably create the icons in an Adobe program.

    Thanks for your help. The frames did not come up for me, so I had to put on frames. Then i put the background on, and put to the back, and if that didn't work, I put forward and moved it around, and prayed. and eventually it got on.

    All I want to know is how to insert a round black dot (but not as a bullet) into the text box on Canva. I found a black emoji, but it's too big and won't resize! Is there any keyboard stroke that Canva will accept and recognize? Thanks.

      Hi there! I know it's a super late reply to your comment but if you hit "C" on your keyboard in your Canva design, it should pull up a circle you can resize. Not sure if it's small enough for what you're looking for but hopefully this helps! 😊

    quick question, but how do you do this in a different font? like if i wanted to use a collegiate font or arial bold? thank you so much!

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  2 года назад

      Unfortunately you can only use whatever font this is. I'm sure there are ways to use other font outside of Canva but I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to Photoshop and things like that. Hope this helps!!

      I love Canva except for this. You can use any font and do this in Picmonkey.

    How about if you want to use multiple images in on letter?

  • @WalkWithTiger

    Alternatively
    Add all the alphabet frames required for the word you need eg LOVE - select all of them and resize and arrange them.
    Highlight / Select all the alphabets select Position > Tidy Up.

    Is there a way to put a border around each letter frame?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  Год назад +1

      Yes - if you save your finished letter frame as a transparent PNG, you can re upload it into Canva and create a border by clicking edit image, then click shadows, and select glow. Hopefully this makes sense! 😊

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan

      Unfortunately this is the only font in Canva for the text mask feature. There are other ways to do it with Photoshop but I'm not familiar enough with it to make a video on it. Hope this helps!

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  2 года назад +1

      Unfortunately there’s not a work around for this in Canva yet. You could always try playing around with photoshop or other programs to see if there’s something easier 😊
