- A destiny struck by fate, love, art, mystery and enchantment. Orpheus will try to save his Love, Eurydice, from the Underworld. He will almost succeed, but hammered by doubt, while his bride is about to return to life, he loses her by turning to her.
He is the missing link in our humanity to link it to the mystery of life and the impenetrable realm of the beyond.
Orpheus represents hope and its loss at the same time. He is one of the most complex characters I have tried to honor. I hope you'll enjoy it.

This feels like an epic trailer for Orpheus’ life from a young man learning the ways of sword and Lyra, Secret rites in Egypt, to his adventures on the Argo, and finally his attempted rescue of Eurydice from Death.

Can you do one for Cleopatra. There has never been a proper theme for her. She needs something regal, seductive, and powerful. Hollywood has never gotten her music right.

I always thought that Orpheus had some kind of anxiety cause, boy, at the very second he was outside he turned and ruined everything. I can imagine Eurydice expression, like: "Oh, dear".

Hi! I find this new track very nice! There is that hint of sadness that I think fits perfectly for the tragedy of Orpheus losing his wife Eurydice, at being so close to having her back just to lose her forever again. Hope you are doing well and I look forward to see how your next track will be 😊
Hi Gloria !!. Well ...I waited for something different .I thought it would be much more silent and dark with one male voice singing . Singing tenderly . A warm kinda dark mysterious theme and then a much more intense lovely atmosphere like Aphrodite's theme .Would you rather something like that for Orpheus ? 🙂. Have a nice day !!!.
@@phillmor1405 hi! I have to say that even though I know about Orpheus, I'm kinda neutral regarding him. I don't love him but I don't dislike him, let's just say that I enjoy reading about him. That said, a male singing voice also would have been nice. But I think Sebastien did as always a very good job with his music and I personally like the track 😊

Thank you :D I actually had this electro track on which I had worked and from this, I built an orchestral theme for Orpheus. When I was a kid, my father told me about Orpheus and Eurydice. And I felt so sad and admirative it still resonates in me. But I also wanted to give this journey a kind of a light touch.
Oh and for the next things to come, I'm working on several themes so I'm not even really sure about what's coming 😅

En effet, je prends beaucoup de plaisir à composer et cette série sur les Dieux anciens me permet de travailler dans une optique assez spécifique mais qui m'apprend beaucoup de choses.
Je fais le maximum pour poster un nouveau morceau une fois tous les 15 jours pour avoir un bon rythme, mais je fais aussi très attention à ce que la qualité soit au rendez-vous.
C'est d'autant plus cool d'avoir des retours comme le tien et je te remercie vraiment d'avoir pris le temps d'écrire 🙏☮️🙏

Ahhhh !!!. My friend ... sorry to tell you this but I LIKE IT and I DONT LIKE IT .
It's strong , it's abstract like it needed to be but I think you missed 3 things in order for it to be epic .
I ' ll acutally write them here cause it's nice to see if anyone else will agree or add up something to my opinion .
1) You needed something from Hade's theme here ... maybe in the middle or at the end of it . Hades played a big part at Orpheus's story so I think it would be nice to feel his presence here .
2) THE VOCALS FROM HORUS !!. You needed those vocals for Orpheus . DEFINITELY .
3) I would love to hear a male voice singing tenderly and powerfully . Maybe you could do a phantom of the opera style with a male vocal singing at the middle of the theme . That would be Orpheus singing for Eurudice at the underworld . I never felt that listening to this ...

I personally loved Prometheus , Perseus and Theseus . They had very fitting themes but others like Hercules, Achilles and Orpheus were not the best choice for me . It's ok of course . You don't have to amuse me every time haha .

About Hades' theme, I'm really not sure because it is not the Underworld theme. And I wanted to be very introspective with Orpheus, not necessary descriptive but it's a good idea and I'll think about how to exploit it ;)

I have a feeling it should have started with 0:35
and should have ended with 4:43 - 4:50 .
I needed the begining to be longer because when I listened to it, the ambience was less mystic in my opinion. Maybe on the Spotify edit when I finally go there ;)
