The real protagonist of Minecraft, also I love the art style it makes Minecraft look medieval. This feels like a sequel where Minecraft has cities and civilization now where Iron golem fights for justice.

Thanks! And yes, each face is an individual grease pencil object, and the explosions/impact shots were frame-by-frame animation

Thats right! The models are 3D with cel shading, while the faces are rigged 2d objects. The stepped animation also helps mix the two styles

Also wanted to ask, how did you learn animation? Was it through school, online tutorials, or something else?
Thank you! I did study animation for a while, though a majority of my knowledge was self-taught by watching tutorials and messing around in Blender (my animation software of choice). It also helps to grow up on a rich diet of Pixar and Dreamworks lmao
