@@MikeAcostaOfficial Where did you see the chord-function? I bought it 2 weeks ago and miss the chord function like on the komplete kontrol. There is just a scale mode - not a chord-mode. Please advice!
I'm interested in stepping into this area of production. I've played guitar/ bass and written for years. what controller would you recommend to someone just trying to get started? I'm totally new to this
id say it depends on what daw. if u havent found ur daw yet, id reccomend ableton. very good for playing guitars into. and if u get ableton, anything novation is really good. as for other daws, arturia keylabs and native instruments keyboards are both very good. in the end it comes down to your preferences and pricepoints. some people love the ableton push which is basically just replacing keys with pads
Could you confirm this MkIII has a 8 track sequenzer which can master 8 different Synthesizers (hardware no DAW)?.... please let me know... DAWless setup
There are 3 parts to this video, the first is an overview and the other 2 have a bit more audio to them showing external synths being triggered as well as some Ableton instruments. Again it is a MIDI controller so its really more about whats its controller capabilities are rather than playing audio from another source.
This arp actually has a played mode too, as well as a chord type. He only mentions a few of the arp features. There's also velocity, gate, sync rate (speed) and octave controls
Joe Crook Indeed 😉 The arp is pretty cool with some in-depth control and best of all is completely stand-alone (doesn’t need to be connected to a computer)
Zones feature looks super dope!
One of my favorite features, especially using the light guide to set the zones and then have independent MIDI channels for each.
Great video! And besides the controller I also love the color of the sound treatment panels, the lighting gives them a muted rose gold feel.
Excellent. Will probably grab this one
How do we set the pads to a scale?
The exact day i'm discovering the MKII.
David Boura so you are not Nostradamus then lol
David Boura mines today :)
Does it have chords
Yes it does! Best thing is you do not need to have any software connected to it for the function to work. It has a chord function with scale settings.

How the F*****K do you make the pads play drums in another dow then ableton
NICE COPY FOR THE NI KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 MK2
dont talk shit
FL Studio gets no love from Novation.
Because its shit.
@@therealjackfisher Come on, don't be that guy. Reason is my DAW of choice but FL Studio is pretty good too. Most DAWs are pretty good these days.
Just when fl thought it was cool.. Lol
😂
I hope Novation firmware update MK3 with programmable SYSEX like SL MK2. What a huge disappointment. :(
Nice dialogue dude now lets hear how it sounds!
Its a MIDI controller and therefore has no sound ... the video is more about its capabilities as a controller.
Yes but audio of some sort would be helpful. All the other demos are all playing something.

It is midi controller stupid. Dosn't have sound
S61 mk2 is better
Notice how he doesn’t even say native instruments lmao
That arp is junk
Try NI played mode

Technically this is more advanced.
How do I run a session in protools and reason?
