I'm glad Yeenu's family didn't give up on her. Years ago I adopted an abused 13 year old senior cat who freaked out because she was afraid I was going to hit her. She finally calmed down after 3 long months. Everyone told me to get rid of her and I'm so glad I didn't. We had 4 wonderful years. She died of a stroke and not a day goes by that I don't think of her. She was a great cat.

I got a two month old kitten in augest and I think of her as my daughter i could not imagine how much it would hurt for you to go through. Like that. My mom had 14 dogs growing up and she went into a state of deppresion when they all started to die so I feel for you

for the ppl talking about the "armor" she was wearing, the cat attacked her so brutally so she needed it lmao, it obviously threatens the cat further but just seeing the pics of her injuries should be enough to understand why she used it
I might have giving the cat up if it repeatedly attacked me like that. Good thing she handled the situation better than I would have.

If an animal tries to kill me everyday I come home, where I'm wiping my blood off the floor, getting stitches, and wearing full body protective gear to survive I'm getting ride of the animal. Telling me it's okay because the animal is stressed ain't gonna cut it.

She is likely to calm down when her kittens are weaned. I fostered a mom like that once and she did that to "protect" her babies

What i can learn from this case:
- always give your cat the '"hi, i love you" blink.
- always provide aromatherapy just in case. Well, basically it's good for both animal and human.
- always understanding our pets.
i was on speakers and when the cat started screaming all my sleeping cats lifted their heads like "jeesuss"

I saw a cat act like this before,it was because her kittens were taken from her after one had died.Mama cats go abit crazy if you mess with the babies.
Yeah that one was so sad! But the people didn't get rid of the cat! I warn people who go to watch ti to not read the comments they are so horrible.
I think before those kittens she had other kittens who had stolen from her.
