    I'm 9 years into a disused sirfields project on the ground and using light aircraft and gliders. 200 airfields so far including essex.

      @@tommygriffiths6911 If ever you need a wing man. I'm not a licensed pilot but ? Many years of experience and massive stories to tell about my love of the R A F and associated airfields during WW2. I'm associated with 5.B.F.T.S. and it's history.

    I've always wanted to see the former Fighter Command aerodromes used during the Battle of Britain done this way.

    RAF Hornchurch and before Suttons Farm Royal F;lying Corp/RAF? Now Hornchurch Country Park, with some significant original Second World War features remaining.
