    Hi there Curtis, hope all is well. I’m 20 & I’m planning on getting a system at a salon for the first 1-2 months then trying out the DIY path. I just had a few questions to ask you & would be so grateful if you answered.
    1.How to know which system/base to choose and what are the differences between them?
    2.What system or materials would be best for someone who is active pretty often? Because to be honest I don’t want to be held back from doing certain activities because of this ya know?
    3. How much does the average system cost?
    4. How often would we have to remove & clean it because i believe at the salon it’s like 4 weeks?
    5. The salon said to me that if i were to order a hair piece that they’d cut & put it on for $100. Do you think that’s a good deal or no?
    6. Can you rock a fade with a system? I hear you’re not supposed to for some reason.
    7. How short can ones hairstyle go with a system?
    I believe that’s all of them, hope you see this man.

    Btw, my thoughts and solution for nighttime sleeping was to get a satin night cap. A nice tight one! One that almost looks like a tight swimmer's cap. :) When I couldn't find one on the market, I decided to try my hand at building one for myself. It was easier than I thought it would be.... Built it for less than $10.

    One final question about adding longivity to a hairpiece... I saw a video where you were applying an oil treatment to yours. And it goes along, and further promotes my question I'm about to ask..... Do you believe buying 2 units together and alternating between them helps? Does it give the other one time to breathe, and give you time to provide some helpful maintenance to the unit?
    What's your take on using multiple pieces in tandem? Thanks in advance for any comment you might post!

    I'll save money on haircuts since I wear my hair long, only problem is mens hair units that are long are hard to find lol, most of the widely available ones use more of a clip on system since they're meant for women rather than a guy who's going to just shave the entire crown to put on a snug replacement/enhancement

    Well covered, a tricky subject topic 'cause the most random variable in the equation is the guy wearing the unit and how the unit is treated - any friction on the fibres is going to effect it as you say, even the pillow case used is going to have an effect on the fibres' lifetime.
    Really informative, it's interesting to breakdown average cost to keep these units happening and perhaps not something everyone thinks about when in first flush of frenzied hair ownership.

    How do these units deal with heavy sweating during workouts?
    I do a burpees routine every morning for about 60 minutes. Not only is it great for fitness, but it's good for my mental health.

    Yo Curt , whats up my man. First off , love the vids , keep them rolling . Ok, here is my question . I have shit side and back of the head hair . I have some , but its up higher in a friar tuck type horseshoe ring around my head - not a lot of side hair and back of the head hair at the lower levles though . Can a system still work ? i guess i could do a skin fade , but not sure how that would look , id like to keep my system short as well .. also i would not do an exposed hairline . Thanks brotha

      I really never speak to someone else's product. But I will say to this one is that its due to a much thicker base material than Im willing to offer.

    Hi Curtis do you think a short hair look can be pulled off with your systems? I notice your hair is always rather long. Maybe one day you can do a video after a shorter haircut.

      Hi buddy, yeah your (good) stylist can achieve most mens hair styling cuts, but they never recommend any style shorter than 2-2 1\2 inch at the shortest, I've had mine cut that short in the past, and to be honest it was more work, you have to wet and dry it, apply hair styling product, just to make sure you look ok, I just find it easier keeping it a little longer, mine is a little shorter than Curtis.

    My uncle wears something like this and I just found out he wears one! I always thought he had nice hair but didn’t know it was fake! Lol but $1000 a year? Might as well get the surgery and save money within 10 yrs

    • @HairExperience
      @HairExperience  5 лет назад

      Wish it was that easy. Transplants do NOT work every time and likely to not get the desired results anyways

    • @seand5517
      @seand5517 5 лет назад +1

      A decent FIRST transplant for someone with loss like Curtis for example would probably be at least 10 grand alone. A second would be the same cost if he ever wanted to get full head coverage. Oh, and it still would never be as dense as a system and with surgeries, especially HT's, there is always risk and you can never cut your sides below a 2 guard again and the result after all that is not guaranteed to be perfection.

      Hair transplants don’t give u the desired results . U would still look hairless and u cannot make desired hairstyles

    Lol trust me hair transplant is cheaper and better. Turkey is leading hair transplant country in the world from €1000 to max €5000 with a warrenty of 25 years if anything happens within that year its a free service. So do the math divide even the highest figure there it works out €200 a year and if its the lowest figure then it works out €40 a year 😂😂😂😂 about cost effective, costing less no way, No matter what you have to always buy a new peice no matter what and that my dear friends is spending more not less.

    Can you do a totorial on how to hide the poly gloss on the front hairline. Or if there is a way to conceal it without having a pulled forward look please.

    • @andrewhore5151
      @andrewhore5151 5 лет назад +1

      A little translucent power appied with a small brush, trying to get it on the poly, NOT the hair! Then to set it in place a light mist of hair spray (alcohol free if you can get it) works wonders, die the shine,! Lol.
