I was using many google apps like Google calender, Google Photos, Gmail, Gpay, Google Keep notes, Drive, Google maps, Chrome, Google duo on my iPhone, because I personally feel that Google apps are better than ios apps as they are easy to use, and many stuffs which I really needed were not possible in iPhone, since I was using google apps on my iphone,I later realized why I'm I even using an iphone 😅😂... so recently I switched to Android and I'm really happy..
I won't be switching back to ios again I guess.

true bro, my friend bought Ipad Air 4 I downloaded Drive, Google keyboard, Chrome, gmail then his brother came (a hardcore Iphone fan) & said why he even bothered buying Ipad if he wanted to use Google apps & deleted every app but now he downloaded them again 🤣🤣
I feel, if you're buying an year or two old android device, chances are more likely that you will be getting a better battery life as compare to old Iphones.
In 2018, I bought an Iphone SE whose battery lasted only for an year and later I replaced it with a new one as my phone was under warranty. But within two years I came to realise old iphone's battery lasts for at most 1 year or so with casual usage while if you're buying an android, you'd get a better battery experience.
Though I am uncertain with the new iphones as I haven't bought one till yet. 😅

I think I have the best from both the worlds -- Faster apps (user experience ) with the security of iOS and free data storage, the voice assistant of Google. I use google chrome and google photos on my iPhone.
Things I miss in iPhone:
Changing the location setting. In android, it is swipe from the top. In iPhone, you have to dig 2-3 steps deeper.
Call recording for sure.
Separate control for media volume, call volume and alarm volume - like we have in android.

I have used both OS and both of them are unique in their own rights but A thing I would like to say is that Android Has the Potential to Replace iOS but I can't say the same for iOS.
Android is really developing everywhere be it Ecosystem (Samsung), Cameras, Performance (SD 8 Gen 2), Charging, Battery hours, and on top of all that, The possibilities in an Android phone are infinite, you can literally do almost anything with it from doing small customisation to connecting your device to different Laptops, Smart watches, TVs, Speakers and much more.

Difficulty comes in buying a android phone because there are so many options available sometimes it gets confusing what to buy.

Point is Android using Java for app development has no consequence of having more features in the ecosystem. Android being open people developed more features into the OS (most new features in Android come from custom ROMs). iOS is not open, it's the company who decides to put more features, not "Java" or "Swift".

Actually Google provides 15GB of storage if you choose that your photos should be uncompressed and at original quality. For unlimited storage for your photos they will have to be compressed to 16MP and 1080p. But that is great as well. So its a win win situation :)

1: Live caller ID via Truecaller doesnt work in ios
2: silent icon doesn’t show on the notification center which is a major drawback !!!
3: still stuck in 60hz ,where android reached more than 120hz .
4: android just takes a small window when u get a call , ios occupies the whole screen which sucks to the core !!!!

Not defending or anything but just saying...
1.For privacy, Apple don’t allow sharing of incoming call number with third party apps.
2.They have a dedicated button to switch between silent and general mode, which you can see/feel without turning on your screen.
3.iPad Pro 2018 got 120Hz much earlier than the android underdogs, plus anything above 60Hz is not appreciable to eyes on a small screen so 120Hz is a pure gimmick, and do wait for ProMotion.
4.[Fixed] iOS 14 rolling baby! Plus it will take small window even on iPad, MacBook, iMac not merely on Phone!

I like android because it has proper file manager, especially Samsung phones which have many multitasking features making transferring and using multiple apps at once easy

Well the ecosystem thing is just the same on an iPhone. You can sync everything from whatsapp chat background to call logs and even apps from one iphone to another just in a matter of seconds.
Having said that, moved from iPhone XR to One Plus, feels like home 😅
