Absolutely love this song. Makes me think of my Dad. When I was about 13 or 14 and had my first heartbreak. My Dad played this and sang to me, making me laugh and sing along. My Daddy passed away fairly recently and I can't help but cry listening to it now. Such an amazing song and for me brings back happy memories of my Daddy cheering me up. What an awesome tune. It takes me back to my childhood, when I had a special girl and we spent several truly magical months together. And how hard it was to lose her. The scars are still there, but the song here makes me remember the great time we had. It's good sometimes to sit here and remember what was, wonder what might have been, and feel sorry for a love lost. When I was 13 years old and learning to play guitar I remember a friend of mine Amaury who was more advance guitar student playing this song. Four days later we practice together and we play this song in our electric guitars in the 80s.
This song was so good that my girlfriend and I at the time picked it as "our" song; ridiculous I know. Whenever it was played on the radio, we'd sing and enjoy it together. Shortly after, we broke up, and I damn near broke down every time I heard it. To this day, it still brings a tear every now and then. Such a powerful and emotion-filled song.

This is an ode to the girl I love dearly. It actually helped me find the girl of my dreams I listened to it very closely it reminds me of the quest to find Mrs. Right. This is what I love about rock music there’s a song that basically has your back covers every emotion a person feels. I’ve been listening to this song since my 8th grade year i’m 19 turning 20 next week and I’ve been through some rough times lately being away in college going through one of the struggles of a long distance relationship. My girlfriend and I weren’t talking for three days she blew off all my texts she thought I was falling for someone else when I really wasn’t this girl is just really fishy it’s been a roller coaster week of emotions. My girlfriend and I are okay again we’ve cleared it up for the most part I came to this song this morning to remind me how hard it was to find Mrs. Right that’s because I’m very shy and I’m nervous about asking a girl out. I’m an ADHD sufferer. The weirdest thing about me is most of my personal friends are girls but I have i hard time asking a girl out. I’ve learned to love and embrace my disorder it makes me funnier and more outgoing just because your different dosen’t mean you have to live in fear of who you are don’t hide from your disorder. I’ve had to work super hard to get where I’ve gotten I went from wearing Velcro only shoes to making a lot of friends in high school and being accepted by a lot of people and also finding my true love so you can love a normal life if you just be yourself😊

My mom would listen to this and cry because she missed my dad. He didn't pass away but they divorced and she missed him. He got married to someone else who's currently my stepmother. It tore me apart when she listened to this one time and cried to me, telling me that she missed him and wish she could take him back, even though he had already remarried. She loved my stepmother because she's so nice. My mom passed away in 2017 and it breaks my heart even more that she left earth without finding her soul mate..... my dad played this for her when they were young.
My brother died on Easter morning and we used to listen to this all the time and I can feel him with me every time I listen to this song. He is a beautiful soul, a true gentle giant, played the guitar like he was born with it in his hands. He will forever be loved and missed.
