Son you should be on the main stream tv. I was laughing my cap off. Love that intro. Funny as hell. Keep up the good work. I love your humour. From a happy old man from the UK.

The poor wind rejection is the one major flaw I noticed with mine outdoors. Just a slight breeze did it. RFI is also another issue I got as well. I’ve turned to the Deity D4 mini which is better in most respects. Great review. Thanks.

I saw that you reviewed this also, I wanted to wait till I was done with my video before I watched it! Your comment reminded me so I just went and checked it out, you did a great job as usual! I am thinking about reaching out to Deity and getting my hands on the D4 mini, it looks pretty awesome. I also want to try the Sennheiser MKE400 that you also reviewed.

I’m really chuffed that you watch my videos! Deity have been really supportive with me after I complained about the original D3 pro switching itself after 15 minutes. I was videoing a show and ended up with no audio thanks to what they described as a ‘feature’ to save battery. After about 400 units, it was quietly changed!! Then Andrew kindly sent me a new one free. Since then, they have been amazingly kind.
The D4 is imo a better buy than the Duo. At least you get to choose the second mic! A lav keeps the wind off and the front isn’t too bad either. The D4 often struggles outside.
I’m currently away from home, making a video for the UK Tourist Board and am using the MKE400 quite a lot for outdoor shots. The side rejection is terrific. The best part about tnose videos is that I don’t have to speak in them!! I just get everyone else in front of the lens!!! I find it painfulto watch myself .....

The video I never thought I'd want to watch IMMEDIATELY! I have the V4 and it's alright for what it is!

Awesome review! One of my new favorite audio guys! The comparisons and in-depth testing were very helpful for sure 💚 not enough reviewers mention the full specs on screen
Love that you went all out testing on phone, in camera, recorder, etc and every type of configuration using the two available mics on each model 🤙🏽
Pleasantly suprised at the audio Quality at that tiny price point. The Movo might sound better than both the Deity and Rode $60 models
Love the honesty regardless of all the free gifts (can't say that for many other audio reviewers)

First off, I just want you to know I am not trying to be rude. I just want you to know that what you asked for, isn’t really how it works… I don’t tell people what to buy, I educate them so that they can make a more informed buying decision. You may be a “newbie” but I don’t know what you plan to record, how you plan to record, or what you plan to record with… I can’t read minds of every viewer that comes across my videos and recommend the perfect thing for their needs. That’s why I lay out all the features and do all the tests, is so you can decide if it fits your use case. I say what each product is good at and bad at and that’s the most specific I can get to helping someone make a decision without knowing more information. Anyone with any experience in ANY field, knows better than to just say “get this, it works for everyone”, more info is absolutely needed. Anyone who says “get this mic” without any explanation of what it is good for or how it is used shouldn’t be trusted.
If you want to get a mic and have good quality audio, I recommend learning about it and not just asking for an answer. I can help you make a decision, but I would need to know all the specifics of what you plan to record, in what environment, what camera or audio device you plan to record the audio in to, if you have a high, medium, or low voice, and also your budget for the mic purchase.

It’s a $60 mic for beginners not a microphone for professionals. It’s perfect for beginners.
