I absolutely love Wickerman! Every time I visit I always look forward to riding it! The theming is incredible and the length of the ride is just perfect! The soundtrack is outstanding and the que line definitely fits in well with the ride! I love the pre show! Well done Alton Towers! This ride is truly incredible! Can’t wait to get back on it when we are back to normal

Nipped in for an hour yesterday afternoon after work and got 3 more rides on it. It is particularly good on the back row, especially if you like an intense ride!
Im a huge towers fanatic and i was so amazed at the speed it all went up!!! Soon as the track started getting installed it just flew up. Huge credit to the team, designers and construction team!
So impressive how they managed to align everything up, how they built the structure and station seperate. Can tell lots and lots of planning went into this!
I thoroughly enjoyed this ride and it’s special effects the Preshow was wonderful and the ride experience itself was brilliant I loved how you could hear the rumbling of the carts coming closer and the queue experience was very intesnse
I remember going on the skyline to 13 and rita and thinking it's a wooden rollercoasters and then me and my dad were googling what the sw8 was but no ideas were close
Wickerman was much faster than I expected. I think because it’s a lapbar it feels a lot more exposed than Rita. I love Rita but Wickerman is a more thrilling ride. Very cool video.
Was an amazing and masterpiece addition to Alton Towers Resort. Love the structure & theming, absolutely amazing. Haven't yet visited and rode a.k.a experienced it yet. But hopefully one day will do. Wonder what is next? RMC Hybrid Coaster? Wing Coaster? Second GCI Wooden Coaster? Can't wait to see what is next, cheers for sharing and look forward to seeing what is built next. 😀

50 times is entirely possible - I stayed at Alton Towers from Monday to Saturday this week and got over 30 rides in. The queue's about 10 minutes on a weekday!
I have been of work for the past 2 weeks due to injury and have made the most of it and spent 5 days in the hotel and then the next week visited 3 times. In one day I got 15 rides before it shut down for technical reasons
They said they had 15 rides in ONE day - and they were there for 5 days one week and 3 days the next. I understand that English is perhaps not your first language. If you don't believe that 50 rides in over a month is possible, you need to start visiting theme parks on off-peak days. 😛
Best wooden coaster in the world just such a queue! Alton towers is amazing the only thing wrong is the expensive prices and could do with a intense water ride but I'm sure Alton towers can do it! What can't they do?
What a good coaster! although it was closed all day opening day :( luckily we got to ride it the day before and we went back to ride it but they were doing technical stuff so they had given us fast passes for opening day so we gave in our fast passes the next day and waited 3 hours in the fast pass cue and ended up leaving even though we were at the front for so long. Its a good job we did because they only let about 5 carriages go the whole day. but apart from that it was good but I feel bad for the people that came just for opening day, they had to close the cue it was getting so out of hand!

However, i DO hav one small criticism (to do with overall 'creep-factor' experience & aesthetics), a glaring design flaw IMO i.e. How could u miss out placing flames behind the Goat & Man/God-head's eye sockets ?? Flames blazing within the head(s), burning behind the eyes - now that'd be truly WICKED !! ... With just the shoulders flaming & head totally dark, kinda just looks a bit lacking (IMO). ... Perhaps u could still place some in?? Hell, even if just 'LCD-screen' FX ones, like used elsewhere, (or just behind the Goat-head eyes at very least) - would be a seriously effective improvement methinx!! Otherwise ... GREAT woody roller !! :)

They use acrylic on the wood to secure it don't worry won't go moldy and wet they also use other liquids on the ride to secure
