As a team Europe fan, I’m happy for Shane - huge congrats 👍 I am always critical of Shane but I believe in an unbiased way, because I acknowledge where he is awesome, and rightly criticize him when it’s needed. Great display of skills against the best in one of the toughest fields imaginable. 👌
How many sanctioned pool events have you won to be any kind of critical? These players don't always have the best outing. And that's okay. Tf you chattin unbiased?
I get the impression that Shane is looking to close out his career, and that he wants to go out with a bang. He stated already he doesn't plan to be doing this for too much longer, he had a bit of an off period after his 8 ball crown, now he seems super driven. Just my take on things as an SVB fan.
Pool is different than most other sport in that you can play high level pool until your late 50s and early 60s. He might try to retire, but he won't. I think he may become less competitive, but he will still compete.

I guess that SVB can barely hear or can’t hear at all. I didn’t know that until maybe six months ago. But oddly I wonder if it’s an advantage in pool. Without hearing all the noise around you maybe it’s easier to concentrate?
Was it just me, or could anyone else just feel the exhaustion in the pool hall during this match? I don't recall seeing so many blatant errors by top players (on both tables) in very long time.
Move the mics away from your mouth, nobody wants to hear lip smack, breath, or teeth clearing while watching the match. Commentary was fine, just move the mics further away, this isn’t asmr
idk whos calling the shotclock but calling 10 when they are in there backstroke shooting the shot is just dumb af... made them both miss around 18:45 if you are gonna do that have a sound of some sort or alarm not a human voice...
