This was for me. My Father died a few weeks ago and in Hospice he told me … For the last 2 days I have been in a Secret Place. I could walk anywhere and my feet didn’t even touch the Ground. I asked him if he was in the Spirit and he said yes. I have been so sad, so drained and so very tired. I knew the Joy of the Lord is my strength but I haven’t been able to grasp it. When I saw the title, it caught my attention because of my Daddy’s words to me. It was God guiding me right there. There is a place outside Cherokee NC that I long to go, sitting by the shallow stream with the water running just like you on this video…. There is no doubt the Lord has brought you into my life. I've never heard of you until I went to the Fresh Fire conference in Nashville. Gods perfect timing as always. I'm so grateful that the Lord is using you to speak to us. Thank you Pastor Karen. You are an amazing woman of God. There is so much chaos in our world, so many peoples jobs are on the line due to the mandate, our prodigal children and family members, and so much evil. It is only through my Lord that he gives me strength and courage each day. Hebrews 12, Jesus endured the cross because he knew the outcome. We must endure what we are doing through and with joy because in the end we will be celebrating God's victory! God's amazing and ABSOLUTELY good. I'm so grateful for the blood of Jesus. His love, compassion, mercy and PATIENCE for us. I often feel like I fail my Lord daily. I pray soon that my heart will be like my Lord's.

Hi Karen, I just finished your book and all I can say is Amen & Amen! We have a son who has had recurring thyroid cancer. The enemy loves to play havoc with us, I know he is a liar. At his visit yesterday they showed me the 2 lymph nodes he still has that they are watching. And now he has something else under his chin which she said was fine. Our son was born with 22Q11 Deletion which has many symptoms, he was born with 7 holes in his heart. At 5 months weighing only 9lb 12oz he had open heart surgery and by the grace of God he survived. He is now 34 and it seems he is getting angrier and angrier with all the doctor visits he has to go to. Please pray for his salvation and his healing. Thank you Nancy ❤️
Great reminder. The times I become discouraged and I inconsistent are the times I get away from my secret place. My favorite secret place is somewhere in the woods next to a waterfall or a stream. Something about the outdoors helps me draw close to God. It really can shut the door the to this crazy world. I hear the holy spirit so clearly when I'm out in nature walking along a trail or sitting on a bench. Nothing in this world compares to it. I see God everywhere when I'm walking outdoors. God knew how bad I needed to hear this word today in regards to my daughter that's 16 going through mental and physical health issues, my marriage in termoil with her dad because he does not understand anxiety and basically is just shutting down falling in a depression himself old midlife crisis and we are struggling financially as well. This message meant the world to me and I am going to find my secret place with God. Pray for me and my family!

I have experienced so much loss, in my life. Just feel so tired. . . .tired of all the pain, l've been experiencing. Besides, what l mentioned previously. I have a condition, called Subduction. . . it's something my Chiropractor, told me over eight years ago. . . .I will always have. ( It causes four or five of my discs to slip out of place, very easily. ) they seem to do this during the night, as l sleep. Then, later in the morning, before l get out of bed. . . l will feel numbness, in my hands. Then, later, after, l get out of bed. . . .as l start to go through my day, l will begin to feel a burning sensation, in my R. Thigh. And then it eventually goes away. . . .but then since l'm not able to get my discs to go back into place. I'll begin to feel it again. . . .& sometimes, it's when l'm walking to or from a store. *it's usually after l've gotten my groceries, & other things l need. *Sincerely apologize, for this being so long. Oh,how I needed to hear this. I have been exhausted for so long. I couldn't figure out why God did not seem close like He used to. All this ungodly stuff going in my ears has been drowning out God's words to me. I had knee surgery on 8/29/22 and a large portion of my leg is bruised. Not like the one I had last year which was,much easier. Oh how I needed to hear that everything is going to be alright. My Nanny said it,and Mama said it,and Daddy said it. What comfort to hear it again! Mom and Daddy passed in the last 2 years. I would like you to pray for my body . Briefly, gastroparesis,GERD,IBS, orthopedic issues. Knees,back,hip joints....pain in joints of left hand. I have been so tired of fighting to survive health issues,grief, depression, finances, marriage relationship.,messy house with too much stuff from parent's estate and my 36 year old moved home in answer to prayer....I had just given up. I had no fight left. I needed to hear what you said and sang. Thank you

Sister Karen. That statement means a lot to me. Back in 2008 when I was going thru the deepest dark place with my son, then 15 year old. God gave me joy in place of sorrow when I needed a song, it is called: Everything will be alright! God has been absolutely good. I am going through financial hardship, foster child has become very worldly(she needs salvation) and my son and I need a home, my car needs work that I cannot afford. Please keep us in prayer. I needed this! As I fight the circumstances not only of this terminal cancer but with my 5 children here and the one Gods called home before me! Nature is my secret place; my heart is calling me back to the mountains where God and I have battled it out before! There is no doubt the Lord has brought you into my life. I've never heard of you until I went to the Fresh Fire conference in Nashville. Gods perfect timing as always. I'm so grateful that the Lord is using you to speak to us. Thank you Pastor Karen. You are an amazing woman of God. There is so much chaos in our world, so many peoples jobs are on the line due to the mandate, our prodigal children and family members, and so much evil. It is only through my Lord that he gives me strength and courage each day. Hebrews 12, Jesus endured the cross because he knew the outcome. We must endure what we are doing through and with joy because in the end we will be celebrating God's victory! God's amazing and ABSOLUTELY good. I'm so grateful for the blood of Jesus. His love, compassion, mercy and PATIENCE for us. I often feel like I fail my Lord daily. I pray soon that my heart will be like my Lord's.

Hi Karen, I just finished your book and all I can say is Amen & Amen! We have a son who has had recurring thyroid cancer. The enemy loves to play havoc with us, I know he is a liar. At his visit yesterday they showed me the 2 lymph nodes he still has that they are watching. And now he has something else under his chin which she said was fine. Our son was born with 22Q11 Deletion which has many symptoms, he was born with 7 holes in his heart. At 5 months weighing only 9lb 12oz he had open heart surgery and by the grace of God he survived. He is now 34 and it seems he is getting angrier and angrier with all the doctor visits he has to go to. Please pray for his salvation and his healing. Thank you Nancy ❤️
Great reminder. The times I become discouraged and I inconsistent are the times I get away from my secret place. My favorite secret place is somewhere in the woods next to a waterfall or a stream. Something about the outdoors helps me draw close to God. It really can shut the door the to this crazy world. I hear the holy spirit so clearly when I'm out in nature walking along a trail or sitting on a bench. Nothing in this world compares to it. I see God everywhere when I'm walking outdoors. Love your property. I'm sure your grandkids love exploring the woods. Of course we know Palmer enjoys it too. Thanks again. May God bless you ridiculously. 🙏
Even though this message was 2 years ago it was right on time for me today!! God knew how bad I needed to hear this word today in regards to my daughter that's 16 going through mental and physical health issues, my marriage in termoil with her dad because he does not understand anxiety and basically is just shutting down falling in a depression himself old midlife crisis and we are struggling financially as well. This message meant the world to me and I am going to find my secret place with God. Pray for me and my family!

Good Morning, My Front Porch Friend. . . .so thankful He gave you this beautiful song, for me. l just came back on here to listen to this song💖once again. . . .it brings tears to my my Eyes, & then they start flowing. I have experienced so much loss, in my life. Just feel so tired. . . .tired of all the pain, l've been experiencing. Besides, what l mentioned previously. I have a condition, called Subduction. . . it's something my Chiropractor, told me over eight years ago. . . .I will always have. ( It causes four or five of my discs to slip out of place, very easily. ) they seem to do this during the night, as l sleep. Then, later in the morning, before l get out of bed. . . l will feel numbness, in my hands. Then, later, after, l get out of bed. . . .as l start to go through my day, l will begin to feel a burning sensation, in my R. Thigh. And then it eventually goes away. . . .but then since l'm not able to get my discs to go back into place. I'll begin to feel it again. . . .& sometimes, it's when l'm walking to or from a store. *it's usually after l've gotten my groceries, & other things l need. *Sincerely apologize, for this being so long. And we had the privilege to met you at the Potter's House when TD Jakes first came to Dallas. And we were invited as special guest in the fellowship hall after service. There were also a couple of Dallas Cowboy football players there as well. But I wanted to met you because we played your tracks in our storefront church frequently. You were sitting with your Mother at your table when we approached you to say hello. Oh,how I needed to hear this. I have been exhausted for so long. I couldn't figure out why God did not seem close like He used to. All this ungodly stuff going in my ears has been drowning out God's words to me. I had knee surgery on 8/29/22 and a large portion of my leg is bruised. Not like the one I had last year which was,much easier. Oh how I needed to hear that everything is going to be alright. My Nanny said it,and Mama said it,and Daddy said it. What comfort to hear it again! Mom and Daddy passed in the last 2 years. I would like you to pray for my body . Briefly, gastroparesis,GERD,IBS, orthopedic issues. Knees,back,hip joints....pain in joints of left hand.
I have been so tired of fighting to survive health issues,grief, depression, finances, marriage relationship.,messy house with too much stuff from parent's estate and my 36 year old moved home in answer to prayer....I had just given up.
