Poltapov's numbers are not a surprise. In the past two seasons he was playing mainly 4th line minutes, which is typical for young players in the KHL. Demidov is currently getting the 4th line treatment.
Of all the prospects, including the 1st rounders, Komarov is the player I am most excited to watch in the prospects challenge. I think I have an idea what to expect from the others, but Komarov seems to have made a big leap in his developmemt in the Q during last year. I do not think he is an option for the Sabres this season (despite being short of RHD), but with a year on the Amerks behind him he could be pushing for a roster stop next autumn.

Wow. Komarov got huge this offseason. He’s now the same size as Nikita Novikov. I have a great feeling about those two and their future with the Sabres. They are huge defenseman that would really bolster this team when we are contenders.

Especially having a expensive defense it will help getting rookie contracts on board

lol ok that’s awesome - but how many “fantastic” defensemen can we have ??

I wonder if Philly will come calling for a Russian prospect to have on their roster with Michkov.

The hockey writers said we have the 2nd best prospect pool still even without savoie if that’s true that’s a good sign

Anton Whalberg is the guy for me. Just think his playmaking is really tough with high IQ on the ice. Kid could be really special and has something not many guys have like Tage is his size. At 6-3 and 200 pounds kid is a monster out there. I'd love to see him improve his skating ability more and if can do that he could become a real star ⭐ in the NHL for years to come

Definitely under & not on many 'radars' is Swedish 18y.o 6_4 200+pds RH shot D JACK BODIN (look out), signed @ Sarnia Sting OHL. 👍
For me, Wahlberg, Kozak, Komarov, Novikov, Ostlund & Helenius would stand out, with likes of Kulich, Kisakov, Johnson & Rosen to stand out!
Hopefully one or two could do kind of a 'Benson', last year - Even if they do, it always comes down to how & the challenges Ruff+Coaching staff will approach these talents.
GMKA sure must feel the urge finding Dance partners 4 trades unless surprising things would happen!
We all know spots r few, if any, so looking forward to this camp/tournament anyhow!
By the way, what happened to WGR 550, EU citizens r no longer allowed to listen.
    Have they changed platform or?
    Anyone know?
    Thx!

@@FinnDad As far as I know (isn't much😉), he "only" was an Invite to this camp. We've to follow OHL & Sarnia, to find out!
