Your wrong about the piercing bite, it does 150 raw damage to any creature regardless of combat weight or armour, the damage does not scale with cw
What does cw stand for?
@@lumperony5664combat weight, which multiplies your damage against lighter dinos, usually. Piercing bite does not.

@@lumperony5664I think the description is not updated cause in the PTB it did low damage and had lower cooldown. I tested it it does like 20% of a Rex’s hp
Ano is fine but it does need some tweaks, the aoe on its tail could be shrunk down a bit, and its hunger and thirst drain when hunkered needs to be reduced, smart players will make you stay in hunker down and just starve you out
Smart players can also not remain in hunker down, so as not to lose much but you are right.
I think they buffed the aoe range of his tail slam. Anyone else noticed?
About the knock back while hunkered, you can it’s just very hard too I was knocked back on my adol ano vs 3 pachys
I hope in the future they add an ability where for a certain amount of time after they last hunkered down that they should have a bit extra armor for 5 seconds because any apex/mid sized dino can bait them into unhunkering and it's pretty easy to kill them after.

Hello, would it be possible to make a video with advice on how to fight raptors? Their new ability is great, but for slow dinosaurs, it's very difficult to defend yourself. Thank you.
All in all, the Anodontosaurus is pretty much one of the best rounded dinos in the game. I really don't know what else the devs could add to it that would improve the critter without breaking it/making it overly OP? I will add that it's a little insane that the Sarcosuchus can grab and carry off the Ano with its new ability, especially since in life they may have weighed about the same. And I am a bit impressed that now the official T. rex can last as long as it does with both Lone Hunter and Face Tank equipped, but again, I still have a BIG issue with Face Tank taking up a head slot rather than as an alternate sense ability. I'm still curious about what sense PT mod makers will give their T. rex (ie Lone Hunter or Face Tank)?
But I wonder how effective is Hunker Down and the extra armor hide combo against venom from an adult Megalania? And what about a contrast between the increased armor vs resilient hides when it comes to venom? And whether or not repeated venom hits against the increased armor hide will be able to completely neutralize both the Ano's Heavy Bone-break and Tail Slam attacks while the Ano is hunkered down?
They should really add that anos cannot be grabbed in hunker down. It makes no sense why sarcos are just a complete counter to ano with no real way of being contested
I would like you to try what has changed in the Amargasaurus subspecies, see if it has improved or remains the same

You counter anno by waiting them out or out ranging them with your tail. So it’s either starve to death or death by a thousand cuts. They are good, really good but only against people who don’t know what they are doing. But they are stronger in groups. I don’t know if they nurfed there stamina? As that was the problem. Death squads of them running down other things. I would make there tail attack have longer range to stop them getting outranged. Have the ability to go longer without food. As dying by those 2 ways suck, but totally nerf there ability to run down other dinos. They are meant to be a defensive powerhouse not one of the best dinos to run around as a kill squad running down other dinos. But I have not played for months so maybe they nurfed the stam?

I feel like the ano hunker and dasp piercing bite gota be a bug I mean it litterally is suppose to ignore armor yet it does less dmg when ano is hunkered. If this isn’t a bug then they still need to add something so fighting ano aren’t just boring and unfun to beat
issue is that hunker down doesnt give armor.. it reduces damage.. those 2 are different and stack

Even works in water i grabbed one yesterday with my sarco he bone broke me while grabbed took away my ambush and kept slamming his tail in the water. I had to let him go he would have killed me.
Sucho new claw ability will take out a Ano even when hunkered down. Unless they nerfed the claw attack already.

Yeah sarco grabs are crazy overpowered, they shouldn’t be able to be out on land an grab, they should only be able to grab near water or from in water. Like if they are near water they get a buff aka Grab. Not just grab whenever they feel like it an hold ya up to his group of mixpackers to bite
Wish you had tested venom on Ano, after all running out of stamina takes away your tail slam and venom prevents stamina recovery...also how does Sarcos stamina/oxygen drain bite do on land and against anos?

Asphyxiating bite can clap anos, six bites and it cant do nothin, just try to bait out its tail slam until its stam runs out
Eh it depends, if you are an official server purist I would say no it's not worth it both because of mixpacking and Sarcos can just drag you down a river easily. If you are in a semi-realism/realism server with no mixpacking then your only weakness will be a Sarco grabbing you and that's avoidable, just go to a lake not a river they are most likely not allowed to camp in still water bodies.
I am planning to make an ano I kinda disagree with your opinion, since the pounce update I haven’t been killed by grab on any of my small dinos because I just don’t go near beaches and river edges to be grabbed in the first place. I expect it will be the same for my Ano. Sounds like a fun challenge.
I’m gonna laugh if they remove the sarco grab and say it was a bug but leave the dasp not dealing damage with piercing bite
I got banned from a server with anodontosaurus because i attacked by mix packers that was on the rule mix packing not allowed and i killed the 2 of the mix packers and the admin ban me because i killed them i guess the admin was one of them for sure

The 150 dmg bite on piercing is Flat Dmg
No Chances on Dmg no matter the CW
Your Ano should had take 150 dmg in thar Bite
Ano has 720 health which is more then Sucho, Allo, Dasp
So it can probably survive 1 piercing bites

in my opinion ano isn't worth growing at all because of the sarcos grab bite.sarco can just grab it and drown it and you will probably run into a sarco because it is a very popular dinosaur.

I feel like sarco's shouldn't be able to pick them up, that or the sarco needs a massive cooldown on its grab. 4-5 minutes at least
Are you kidding?, it has 480hp, shit stamina recovery and shit hp recovery, its crushing bite has a coolddown of 4 seconds and prevents other attacks.
@@hankj.wimbleton213 so that justifies it being able to spam a completely broken ability that clearly needs tweaked to actually follow the combat weight, cause there is no way irl that thing could pick up a 4 ton ano
@@BestMster don't you think it needs a ability like this because of how already shit it is?, pretty much giving a character one powerful move is justifiable if everything else about it sucks, and dont bring "irl" into this when there are so many things in the game that does not make sense.
@@hankj.wimbleton213 the sarco is not trash, that sounds like a skill issue if I've ever heard one. He caters to a very specific playstyle, he is an ambusher not a tank. He can't head tank against bigger things or he'll get stomped it's that simple, his charged bite can 3-4 shot a sub rex and you're telling me that's trash?
3-4 shots, no sub rex is going to stand still and let the sarco bite it, Sardis stamina drains extremely fast even if it could outrun a sub Rex, he can pretty much only kill anything that tries to travel through the water, like you said, he is a ambusher, he needs an ability like this, but honestly I would hoped for a bone break or something would prevent his enemies from escaping so easily, since his crushing bite prevents him from using his normal bite for 4 seconds
